4 months agoI have been shopping at Officeworks in Bondi for years. It is a really big store with thousands of products from stationary to office furniture. You can even buy biscuits, tea, coffee, lollies and all sorts of food items for the office or home. They conveniently have a parking lot on street level, with the shop directly on top. There are stairs or an accessible lift that can take you up to the entrance. They do need more staff to help customers though.a week agoIs it completely impossible to have a good experience in this place!?!?! First I have to explain to the person who works there that they can in fact print what I’m asking, then coax them to do the print because the paper I want is not in the self-print machines, then problem solve more issues they find (seriously I got the feeling they don’t really want to do any work) and finally when it seems we are at the finish line (and I’m signifcantly older now than when I started)…BEHOLD…none of the colour printers are working sir, we can’t print your two pages…*think saccharine sweet voice dripping with insincerety* – you set a pretty low bar and somehow still managed to fall short. Wow!2 months agoThe print staff are horrendously slow and cannot manage customers. They look up from doing something to see 5+ people in the line and instead of addressing multiple customer needs they ignore you. They also move at a snails pace. Staff need to do better. There doesn’t seem to be a manager who is keep track of the line and the productivity either.2 months agoIf you want to print large sized documents, be prepared to wait a LONG time because even though their store is huge and has a decent amount of people working…. There’s only one person to help with printing and it’s very inefficient. I had to make 2 trips just to print out 3 A0 pages.2 months agoExtremely slow service and quite rude staff (printing area). I get frustrated everytime, as well as the 8 people In the queue also waiting.. forever Self service, once you understand how it works, is good and quick though but you have to pre-pay.. so end up paying more than you need/should. I don’t like giving bad review but this is just a consistently frustrating situation

Contrary to some of the mean spirited reviews some people have left about this Officeworks, I have found it to be most efficient and the staff very helpful. I have always been greeted with a smile. Most of my interactions are with the print team. Geoffrey and the gang are quick and efficient. I never have to line for long, even at peak hour. They always provide me with exactly what I want and if it can’t be done that day I always get a text the next morning saying the job is complete.
I think many of these officer workers leaving negative reviews are just frustrated with their own insufferable lives and careers, and seek out any avenue to vent. Waiting 45 minutes for a print job, mid-week, in one of the busiest stationary/print shops in Australia is actually exceptionally good.
I went into officeworks yesterday afternoon about 3pm and was looked after by Sara in the printing section.
Sara patiently guided me through the whole process of printing my documents. I couldn’t remember the process as it had been a long time since I had been In the store. It was such a pleasant experience quick and efficient.
Also the lady greeting customers as you come in was lovely, very friendly and helpful. I think her name was Deb? She was wearing glasses. Thank again Ladies for your help. It was much appreciated.
convenient and not too busy even at city! printing service, goodie’s, stationeries.
Well organised, clean, went in first thing in the morning to get pictures taken for visa application. Everything was super quick and the photos got delivered within 10 minutes
I will go out of my way to not buy anything ever again at Officeworks. Ever. They could be giving computers away for free and I would not go in. Their customer service number is probably the worst service I have ever seen. You cannot refund orders in-store and I have been on the phone waiting for someone for 53 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon. I would rather drive 9 hours to a shop in Melbourne than buy anything at Officeworks again. It is incredibly bad. If you value your time, never buy anything here. Nothing against people who work in-store, they are usually helpful. But the organisation policies and processes are appalling
