a year agoNever thought Burnie would be having such a wonderful icecream shop! Many flavours and their mix in choices, aplenty. The lady who served was kind! Will try few more!2 years agoIf I could give this place no stars I absolutely would. The shop didn’t appear to be clean. There were fragments of different ice creams in nearly all of the flavours. And the ice cream just tasted strange. A freezer taste which makes me think it was freezer burnt which then makes me think it was old. Would not recommend this cold rock.a year agoI always get the same thing whenever I go to a cold rock, custom ice-cream is amazing, I love it and I don’t mind paying a premium for it lol. I sometimes get the big take home tub cause why not, it’s a special treat xDStill eagerly waiting for one to be opened in the Devonport area though!
a year agoReally great experience, Friendly staff especially the young man with the curly mullet really assisted me in getting my desired ice cream. would hire him in a heartbeat!4 years agoFirst timer! For me and my son, VERY IMPRESSED! awesome service awesome products and variety wow LOVED EVERYTHING!Wanted to give a special mention to a gorgeous girl/employee of Burnie cold rock LAYLA (hope I got spelling correct) She is so Lovely! Always tops up my large take home tub with love so always get money worth BUT the warm friendly customer service is AS GOOD AND SWEET as the ice cream and mix ins hahaha she is awesome and your lucky to have her working with customers she is so great! Thankyou!

A nice bakery cafe with good freshly made stuff on the menu. Coffee is average but food is really good. Ample seating capacity and EasyPay parking available by the roadside next to the cafe. Staff is so friendly and helpful and is open on public holidays- won’t charge you extra. Service is very quick and warm. Prices are very reasonable compaired to expensive Tassie food industry.
Honestly really disappointed. The double choc muffin I got was all dried out so ended up throwing it out. They didn’t have the pies we had ordered and already paid for so we had to substitute out for potato an bacon pies that had burnt bacon on top of it. They didn’t have the drinks we ordered either so we had to substitute out the drinks as well. One of the pies we ordered was missing and they tasted really flakey an way to puffy. Only thing that tasted good was the banana milk and that wasn’t even made by them.
Me and my partner’s absolute favourite bakery to go to! Their cape grim pies are perfection and they have the best spinach and ricotta rolls I’ve ever tasted. We also love their vanilla chai lattes. 10/10 would recommend!
Over the past three days I have had 3 different iced drinks strawberry, mango and peach tea and they have always been so good and refreshing. Five stars ?
The lady that served me didn’t even say hello which I found her tone and attitude rude. I put my drink up to the counter and she just said “is that all” and her tone was not good at all. I said no my brother wants a peach iced tea and she looked up at us angry ?!
