3 months agoPraise to Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Center! We had a birthday party there today and it was brilliant! Thanks to Sharnee who helped with the booking, the catering from the Cafe and a massive thanks to Hannah who was our party post! You were full of energy, helpful, and went above and beyond for the kids! Would definitely recommend for a kids Birthday Party!3 months agoI went to enquire about using it. So many people coming in and out eg school groups and individual people Appeared very busy and popular spot in Goulburn Is a big facility with a heated rehab pool Staff are friendly and helpful It has a fitness gym within the complex as well! Wow! Looking forward to using it5 months agoPassed through the gym when travelling, and it’s acceptable. The machines feel a little cheap, and the atmosphere is a bit weird with absolutely no music. Saying that, though, it did what it needed to, and I got my workout in.6 months agoFriendly and helpful staff. Great new facility. Miss the outdoor pool during winter, but the indoor lap pool is not so hot that its too hot to swim laps. Terrible customer service. They all stand around talking to each other, look at you and then return to their conversation. When they do come, they quickly help you and then run away before you can ask any more questions. Tried to get passport photos printed – they had no idea what they were doing and after an hour in there, I walked away without what was needed. Also, my mother recently bought a $5000 lounge from there and when it was delivered, the guys dumped it in her house, still in all the packaging, refused to move it to where she needed and refused to remove the packaging. She paid for delivery. She is almost 86 years old. Disgusting. They told us they would get back to us regarding the delivery and another query but never did. We will shop anywhere else BUT there now.
People wonder why retail is dead. We drove an hour to this store today to purchase a pizza oven that was listed in stock online . When we arrived, we were ignored by the staff in that department . We went into the electrical department where Graham was very helpful and the only good thing about this store.
He helped locate another salesman who said they had no stock but he would check with his manager to see if they could sell us the display stock as it was the only one left . He then sat down for a considerable amount of time waiting for his manager to reappear from the warehouse upstairs . After awhile he went upstairs and his manager came back with him , ignoring us as he walked past. The original shop assistant then came back and said as it was an advertised product , it couldn’t be sold to us despite none being available until mid January . We had planned on spending additional money in store but this experience left us walking out the door and we will now order from another supplier . I’ve never known anyone in retail want to turn down sales over $1000 especially in this economy but apparently Harvey Norman Goulburn does.
Helpful staff. Great range of products. Reasonable prices. Clean and hygienic store.
