Shopped here today – Opening Day. The carpark is tiny but once the shinyness of having a new store in town calms down it might not be too bad. The staff were out in force being opening day and were very helpful, all excited and smiling. They had a portable POS machine that I could check out on without queuing which was innovative and modern. I were in and out in 5 minutes which is exactly what I were after. Massive range of products from electronic, crafts and stationary. Very welcome addition to Warrnambool.
Has many varieties of office & home supplies. Along with mobile phones and table’s. Good to have some other competition in town.
Major chain putting small business out of business but employing locals.
Very rude customer service to the point one worker literally turned her back on me to talk about me with another staff member. Was super keen to check out the new store but horrible experience.
The old Officeworks bait’n’switch is still a thing after all these years I see. Tried to buy a laptop at the Warrnambool store, website said there were 2 in stock and so did the employee login. Alas couldn’t find them anywhere, but hey here’s the same one with slightly better specs for another $270 and you better believe we have plenty of those…
Oh, and thanks for not bothering with the call back regarding whether or not you could eventually find it and what could you offer on the ‘better’ one. No such problems with a competitor.
Poor customer service experience. Needing to purchase a mat for a terminally sick relative. Parked at the front door however none of the 3 staff available would assist us to see if it would fit in our vehicle.Offered us a measuring tape, but it was pouring rain. We had to purchase, then check and return for a refund if didn’t fit. Absolutely no flexibility or compassion, even after I explained our situation.
