Today, I picked up some beautiful wild blueberries, blackberries and raspberries for only $3.99 each. ? They also sell delicious watermelons! Thank you so much for always exceeding my expectations. Yesterday i bought olive oil marked as $14.23 on shelf. When i reached the register, the girl scanned as $23.99. Luckily I saw on the register what i am being charged. I asked the owner how come its different. She said she will go and check whats the price marked on the shelves. She came back and told the little girl who was serving me to charge $15.99. I was shocked. Instead of asking for forgiveness, she charged me extra. I did not say anything, so as to not embarass the owner for $1.76 charged extra in front of so many people. This has happened to me the second time. The first time they charged me $3 extra for the yogurt. I am never going to this shop ever again. Guys, please beware of shopping in this shop. I understand its quite convenient for local people at hurlstone park, but better compromise convenience than giving hard earned extra money to these guys.2 months agoLove my local friendly grocer! Ordered 2 mandarin,4 banana and some pantry items through Uber grocery (Uber eats) , got 2 rotten mandarins at $1.20 each and over ripped banana which you wouldn’t even feed to animals. If you don’t have good item in stock kindly just cancel the particular item than sending such rotten item which can affect someone’s health. Kindly educate staff and ensure food safety is always top most priority when selling it to customers.
I needed a phone charger. Shopkeeper allowed me to open the packaging and test. I was offered a PowerPoint to charge phone there. Brilliant
This is a great grocery in a tight knit community helping residents of Ultimo survive during these tough times with the great CHEX initiative. The staff are amazing! Defiantly the friendly grocer. I’d like to share my experience with a staff member Vivian, he was absolutely incredible and helpful every time I visit. He will show me different products and the reviews and assists me, his friendly nature always makes me want to come back to the store.
The staff is absolutely amazing and helpful, especially those two lovley people Agatha and Vivian! Such a pleasant experience ☺️ so nice to have store like this.
This was a higher review — but they have been overcharging me. Prices listed in the aisles are different from the cash register. Be wary of this and do not trust what they try to charge you. It could end up costing you a lot more.
I’m all for trying to support small businesses but I will not be coming back to a store that attempts to cheat locals out of money. Lady was also extremely rude and asked me as a customer to go check my own product. Seriously, as a loyal customer they should not be treating people this way.
