We recently visited Nando’s South Bank branch, and we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious dining area both inside and outside. The fresh air and seating arrangements were quite impressive. We intended to try their Peri-Peri Chicken, which we had heard so much about. The food was definitely worth trying, but we did notice that the preparation time was a bit longer than we had expected. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, but we did find that if you choose to sit outside, they tend to miss some of your needs as they are mainly inside the restaurant. Overall, our experience at Nando’s South Bank was reasonable. Although the prices were a bit high, based on our payment, we can say that there are many different dining options to try in that area. We recommend considering this and deciding whether to visit Nando’s South Bank.

I love coming to nandos but lately I’ve been seeing the change with food quality and service has declined. I’m not sure if the store was understaffed but my friend and I came in, the food took more than 30min to come, when it came our food was cold, it was dry, the fries were old and the corn was still cold. I ordered paella but then around 13min later one staffs says they don’t have it. I’m alittle disappointed with the dinner. I hope the service and food quality will improve.

Right off the bat bin chickens in the store having a cheeky feed. So many dirty tables while employees talk about ford falcons. However the food was fresh and hot, the chips not evenly seasoned yet did not provide substantial amount of crunch. Chicken was looked dry but juicy somehow and food took forever considering we were the only ones in the store. The verdict is Nandos is not worth the price if your willing to spend that much go to a better place. Would come back again if they held my nan hostage.

Absolutely dirty, absolutely disgusting dirty seats & not a clean table in sight. Needs an overhaul & more staff. Service is non existent Decided NOT to eat here as couldn’t risk it. How health & safety don’t do something I don’t know

It is Nando’s, so you either like it or you do not. Food tasted the same as the other locations I have been to. Friendly staff. Order via QR code on the table. Simple and efficient. Self service for utensils and napkins.

5 Replies to Discover the Top 5 Nando’s in Brisbane, Australia

  1. Ordered takeaway via the app. Food was ready on time though I only realised after leaving the store that no cutlery or napkins were packed in the bag – maybe this isn’t the default these days, but I don’t recall seeing an option/prompt in the app when ordering, nor was I asked upon collection. No biggie that’s why I keep spare cutlery in the office.

My super fuel salad was pretty tasty though portion wise felt pretty light for $17, so it won’t be my first choice of salad options from fast food chains.

  2. I ordered the lunch special, however it took 20 minutes to be made.

Staff are not overly motivated or excited to serve you.

The chicken was overcooked and under-seasoned. I do not accept that this is in the spirit of Portuguese cuisine.

    Prices are high also.

One thing I like about this restaurant is that there are complimentary condiments of high quality – the sauces are excellent.

  3. I really loved this Nando’s. One of the best in Brisbane. Lovely layout and design for the restaurant including water stations and sauce bottles. The chicken was juicy and nicely cooked on the outside. Minimal charring on the skin of the chicken. The staff were also very nice and friendly.

  4. If you love spicy ?️ chicken than you got the right place. They serve the spicy chicken the peri peri one, as we are Indian we eat lots of spice. We ordered spicy peri peri chicken , broccoli ? fries, spicy rice and peri peri fries ? the chicken, broccoli and fries were delicious however, the rice is not good. We didn’t like the rice as it felt like dry and nothing in it to taste better. If we talk about the ambience it good for dine in with friends and family. The service is ?. Overall for chicken and fries you must visit this place. I would recommend this place .

  5. The food was good and the service was alright. However, they did not carry any sanitizers in the whole restaurant.

Considering it’s a central location in Brisbane with a huge chunk of tourists dining. A sanitizer for customers should be a minimum expectation.
