She is an asset to the team!a month agoAttended shop to buy A-League jersey for grandsons. Nil in stock at store nor in QLD. Gorgia and Priya (hope I used correct spelling) took the time to assist in ordering stock from interstate. Jersey’s to be delivered direct to grandsons. Very helpful young ladies, customer service at best, thank you.3 months agoLeft a $400 pair of sunglasses in the change room at Rebel, Northlakes early October. Phoned immediately to notify them and the staff advised they found them and would keep them safe in lost property until we returned. We advised we would not be back that week but would return asap. Came back to collect them and the staff advised they were missing, “when lost property sits here for a while, staff may usually claim them”…. (We came back two weekends later). Management advised they would send a “FB message out”, we then followed up twice and received an email 3 weeks ago advising that it had been escalated to the Regional Manager and was marked as a serious matter being treated with urgency and care. We received no word, so emailed again two weeks later and lodged a complaint with HQ. Still no acknowledgement of my email, or a return phone call. Followed up again today to be advised that it was still with the Regional Manager and “a response can’t be given overnight” (or 3-5 weeks later?). Really disappointing treatment, we should not be pushing this hard for someone to give us an answer or even so much as acknowledge our complaint. Hopefully they can “carve out some time” for stolen customer property some point soon… Poor service!2 months agoI love this place a a so much!!! never met a more disgruntled worker than rita. no customer service. didn’t offer me a bag, asked for one post paying, barked that they’re a dollar. no worries..
Unbelievably rude staff, I went in to ask if the store had dvd based on exercising but the two women in the store floor completly subbed me off with short answers also I was hoping to seek assistance from the staff and stood there for about five minutes and no one offered to assist me but instead decided gossiping between the staff was the better solution rather than serving customers. I was intending to buy from the store, but decided to go to Kmart instead.
Very disappointed with the quality of customer service. Went in looking for runners, stared at the wall for 5-10 minutes before anyone came over to assist. The girl was not in uniform and asked me what i wanted. Got me the size shoes i requested and proceeded to talk with her co-workers and kick a footy around in the store with one of the other boys. Still proceeded to chuck a footy behind me whilst i sat on the seat and organised the shoes back into their boxes after trying them on. Continually big noted herself and talked rudely to the new staff member at the till. Ended up buying the shoes and left feeling very annoyed and sorry for the new staff member.
I called on Friday to confirm the availability of an item, and I was assured that there was one in stock. I provided my details and scheduled a Saturday morning pickup, with specific instructions to ask for Michelle upon arrival.
However, upon reaching the store on Saturday, I was informed by Michelle that the item was not in stock. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the time, effort, and money spent on driving to the city and parking. A simple courtesy call in the morning could have spared me this inconvenience.
What made the situation worse was Michelle stated, “I have good news and bad news; the good news Indooroopilly has one in stock but the bad news its damaged and they cannot sell it to you”. Michelle are you stupid that’s just bad news.
The lack of apology or any effort to provide a solution or alternative. It’s baffling to me how someone in a managerial position could be so indifferent and unhelpful. I strongly urge the recruitment team to review her career background, as her abilities are questionable. I left the store absolutely baffled.
I went to the Carindale store to check if they had any in stock. The young representative informed me of the lack of stock however offered a viable solution for free shipping with home delivery. I continued with the purchase.
In conclusion, Michelle, there is room for improvement. A little more effort and consideration could go a long way. It’s a joke when a teenager at another store outshines the manager in problem-solving and customer service. Michelle overlooked a $599 sale; one can’t help but wonder how many potential sales she might have discouraged. If Head Office is seeking an explanation for the store not meeting its targets, my response points to Michelle, and perhaps it’s time to consider bringing in a new Store Manager.
