Three stars because Eliza (Elisa? Not sure) on the checkout yesterday was a lovely young lady who packed our bags well and passed extra products over to my husband who doesn’t mind carrying the extra weight and she also explained bricks farm to me. 5 stars for her, and I hope you pass on our appreciation. One star because today at 12.30pm, an arrogant young “lady” with 3 coloured clips either side of her hair and no name badge let the side down. No please or thank you, didn’t even acknowledge us, looked down her nose at us (did the same to the couple in front of us)and we packed our own bags. I was so disgusted with her attitude that I had to walk off. My husband had to ask for the bricks farm and she virtually threw them at him. Why do you employ people like this?
Recently this store has become a joke and after todays shop i will no longer be shopping here.
Mushrooms way past their best and flies on them.
Bags of lettuce rotten.
No bacon on the deli counter.
Items marked special price but under label is same price.
No price on some brands of eggs.
Lots of empty shelves.
Selected specials on my rewards app unavailable.
Had to visit coles to complete my shopping.
Shopped here as we were passing through. Quite a large store. Not too busy. Plenty of variety and they had what we wanted in stock. Will come back again.
I bought a mobile phone Optus there is a issue with the device as I called the Optus network team then they said the device issue but not network advised me to visit the store I purchased and exchange or refund. When I tried to talk to them the service desk people and the manager over there were rude and no idea about refund policy or returns of Woolworths ; simply ignored and trying to stick with me no other option. I am working in a retailer as a employee but I never seen these sort of biased staff anywhere .
Popped in for an evening shop on the way home. Meat and chicken shelves were very slim pickings, as was the bakery. Fruit and veg was okay. Self service checks were reasonable, although the young fellow working there was too busy smiling at people to realize the scanner glass needs occasional wiping to help the checkouts work.?
