What a fantastic place. Definitely spoilt by choice of food. We opted for fish and chips with a beer to wash it down. Love that you can sit right on the edge of the wharf and watch the boats go by. Just watch out for the seagulls, they like to poo a lot as hubby found out when 1 flew over and pooped on his arm.

We had a nice dinner as we watched the sun setting. Very casual, lots of food options and take away bottle shop. Relatively inexpensive and a lovely peaceful evening.

Lovely place for lunch but some places were closed. Meal was very nice. Scenery was amazing as usual. Sat there and watch a cruise ship pull in.

Enjoyed spending some relaxing time before and after a fishing charter. Lots of food places to select from and a takeaway bar. Sitting on the waterfront looking out over the bay is very “chill”. There are also activities and a secure eating area for those with smaller kids.

  1. Love this area of Darwin. Such a nice spot to walk around, relax in the park or in the restaurants. We hired the scooters on a weekday morning. Hardly anyone around so it was an easy ride. There’s swimming options here too in the wave pool or harbour and an inflatable course on the water which looks fun. There’s a lot to see and do from here, definately reccommend a visit.

  2. The Darwin Waterfront is a captivating blend of scenic beauty and vibrant activity. This picturesque locale offers a diverse array of dining options, from delectable seafood to international cuisine, all amidst stunning views. Families and solo travelers alike can unwind along its pristine beaches or delve into the refreshing wave pool.

The lush parklands provide serene spaces for leisurely strolls. Cultural events and lively markets abound, adding to the waterfront’s pulsating energy. The seamless blend of natural charm and modern amenities makes the Darwin Waterfront an unmissable destination for both relaxation and entertainment.

  3. Darwin Waterfront Precinct is a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. With its man-made beach, Wave Lagoon, and diverse dining options, it caters to all ages and interests. Families can enjoy the playground and splash pad, while couples can unwind in the relaxed atmosphere. From fresh seafood to traditional Australian fare, the culinary scene is sure to tantalize your taste buds. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen and a hat during the summer months. Paid parking is available. For a memorable souvenir, browse local crafts and products

  4. A nice place to come and visit for a relaxing time around the lagoon great for a little swim or just to have a picnic on the grass. Better in the afternoon or evening when it cools down a little bit. But still worth coming. Great big shad trees.
