a month agoWoman in the parcel area was extremely rude, loud & patronising towards me in front of others queuing. Really disgusted in her behaviour esp as we are expected to be polite towards them. Manners need to work both ways. She shouldn’t be dealing with the public with that attitude.8 months agoAs someone who’s travelled the world and lived abroad, I’ve experienced a lot of different types of customer service. When it comes to poor customer service, some of the staff in this store would be Gold medallists if there was an Olympic games for poor customer service. I’m not sure if it was being incompetent at lodging simple paperwork, or just having a dreadful demeanour towards the public made me leave this review, either way, better off you just drive down the road to another store.a year agoDrivers don’t wait for door to be answered, or don’t knock at all. I have cameras facing my door/yard and have captured it several times while I’ve been home where they leave me a slip or leave before I even walk 20 steps to the door.Wouldn’t be that bad if not for the very long wait times to pick up parcels and the lack of consideration for my time. 20+ minutes of my lunch break vs 6 more seconds of their drivers time. Typical Aus Post.
2 weeks agoThe worse ever experience with inexperience staff. Don’t know whats going on. Very very pathetic.a year agoShort, sharp and shiny. A well oiled machine PLUS great ideas for presents. I even bought my dog a beautiful toy. He is in love with his girl doll. And she sing and talks!

Customer service needs work!
We were contacted on Friday (almost a week ago now) about a delivery for our new dryer. We unfortunately had Covid and explained that we wouldn’t be out of isolation until the following Monday.
The staff member said contact would be made again on Monday or Tuesday to reschedule.
I didn’t receive the promised contact and ended up calling them yesterday (Wednesday).
I was told that a message would be given to the Warehouse staff and that one of the drivers would contact me today to organise a time to deliver.
Our dryer was delivered this afternoon (without any contact) and it was just lucky our Nanny was at our house and could sign for it.
If I didn’t have to use them I wouldn’t…
Recent delivery of a heavy large expensive machine which they accepted which had special instructions-that it was to be delivered by tilt lift arrived without warning had to arrange a fork lift to have it off loaded.Again if I had been warned I could have organised a fork lift. The driver was annoyed and unhelpful. With a poor attitude and poor communication skills. Could not careless. I rang the depot after delivery spoke to the lady who answered the phone who had a similar attitude. We have had a lot of deliveries from A1 over the years and they have definitely dropped the ball. I doubt they will care about this review either. BTW they don’t have a truck with a tilt lift in their fleet ?
Can’t go lower than 1 star. Haven’t come across such bad customer service in years! Management is rude and unhelpful. Firstly, our delivery address for everything is to a secure, attended service through Australia Post Plus (google it). Everything is signed for and can never be left unattended. So long story short, the delivery driver admitted he left our items unattended but couldn’t remember where he left it (although our supplier got a forged signature of ours on the delivery slip, “No Authority to Leave”). The manager refused to give any written confirmation that the delivery went to the wrong address, so that our supplier could make a claim for loss (car parts, to get our car RWC, which we missed the inspection date) After calling every day for 3 weeks trying to find out information or what we need to do, the manager blamed the cubism she contracts to and said I was to stop contacting them, a police report was put it and she could/ would do nothing more… so I put the matter into the hands of Consumer Affairs. We recieved a refund 5 weeks after the initial loss.
Delivery driver broke my 3 week old safety gate (clearly not a swing gate) and damaged the paint on my house when he leant heavy bulky items on it and they slid off each other instead of putting against the more secure balcony timber panels. .
I have it on camera. I sent the footage to A1 asking for rectification at least for the gate. 1 month on and no response, just the run around. Camera footage shows the van and driver. Considering they have failed pick up and drop off services and lost packages at work and now my personal life experience, extremely disappointed in the company.

As a delivery driver dosnt make you a better driver than anyone else , you are not on a race track and the rude gestures don’t make you a bigger man
