in the last weekVery average. The chicken AB was ok, meat was not as tender as it should’ve been but the crunch of the chips were ok. Both the lamb Rogan Josh and lamb Korma had pretty good flavours and the meat was tender. The butter chicken was way too sweet and the consistency of the sauce wasn’t great. The naan was dry. The chicken biryani had a nice flavour and a decent kick of spice. The portion sizes of all the curries were small and stingy with the meat.a week agoThe owners and workers were absolutely amazing. You can tell that you’re more than a customer when your in the blissful atmosphere. On top of that the food was scrumptious, affordable and very filling.
If you’re in Mount Gambier, Mount Gambier kebabs is the place to go for a bite.
P.S : they’ve got Baklava 😉
3 weeks agoAbsolutely loved the food..the chicken korma and the soft nan bread was the highlight…all served with awesome service… also not too pricey…2 weeks agoFriday 29th Dec. ’23. Service here was ok from the girls at the counter, although being told there was a 20 minute wait for 2 lamb yiros’ and we waited whilst it was sitting for god knows how long on their bench going cold and after asking for our name, not even calling us up to collect them, while sitting in the store waiting to be called as instructed, once we were finally called up to collect our cold lamb yiros’, my husband slipped on the step at the door, falling over and really hurting himself and drawing blood on his knees, today (31st Dec 23) he is still hobbling around sore, so be careful approaching the entrance door to this store, there was No sign at the door stating there was a slippery step. Our lamb yiros didn’t taste that nice, the lamb meat tasted processed, made it taste worse being stone cold, it wasn’t worth the $28 for two lamb yiros’ had a drizzle of what they called garlic sauce in the very bottom. Definitely won’t be back to this place again next time we’re in Mount Gambier.4 months agoIn our pursuit of locating the most highly regarded (HSP) in Mount Gambier, my brother and I serendipitously came across MG Kebab and Curry House. We were treated to an exquisite culinary experience with delectable cuisine and a courteous staff that left a positive impression on us. The standout feature, without a doubt, was the exceptional quality of the meat used in their dishes. We wholeheartedly endorse MG Kebab and Curry House and consider it a top choice for anyone seeking a superb HSP in Mount Gambier.

One of my friend said, you must try this restaurant when you’re visiting Mt Gambier. From this review I also tried. Food was good, but curry was too salty and they’re too busy that took a long time to serve all things together. I won’t say it was bad, but from the review i had i was disappointed. Overall it was good as it’s the good Indian cuisine in the area.
We had a takeaway, which was delicious. The meal deal for 2 was excellent value and the meat was cooked perfectly and plentiful. The only complaint was we were unable to ring up to order the food….both numbers ‘could not be connected’ and had to then go in to order, then wait. Otherwise, we were very happy.
Nice and delicious , staff and owner are friendly. My partner and I did enjoy it, but if is this price is included a small rice would be great.
Food was quite good – really enjoyed the Butter Chicken. Atmosphere was a little flat and food took a little while to come out, but we were a big table. All in all, quite enjoyable.
Made a large order and happy to pay the extra $13 for delivery, was advised would be an hour which was ok. Meal arrived 40mins late and was incorrect order. As far as Indian food goes flavours were pretty average, papadams were stale. Won’t order here again unless desperate.
