a month agoMy partner hyped this place up to me for months so when I went there for for dinner I was expecting amazing food, and the food was amazing, the serving sizes could’ve been bigger but the food was beautiful.We got the butter chicken, chicken biryani, onion bhaji and naan bread. 100% would recommend.
2 weeks agoWent out with family to eat. Saw this Indian and decided we’d give it a try. It’s a very nice setup, perfect temperature inside, atmosphere was wonderful. Ordered drinks and food, which both came in about 15 minutes. Mansoori Lamb was exceptional, only a bit sweet, butter chicken was the same, I ordered the goat curry, which was exceptional as well. Overall, great dinning experience, would recommend for families or night outs with friends.a year agoSpicy Level : We ordered medium to hot spicy. But it was very plain taste. So if you want a real spicy food, insist that you need spicy. ?Fast Service : We got the food very fast. May be it was because we were the only one dining for Sunday dinner.
Atmosphere: I liked the atmosphere.
Service: Very friendly.
Price : Little more spicy for the quantity.

9 months agoWe really enjoyed the food and warm hospitality. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the vibe entering the restaurant. Many pictures on the wall reflecting India.We ordered Lemon Lime Bitter and it was great. Definitely 10/10. Mix entrees for 3 was amazing. Perfect size, mouthwatering taste and very fresh ingredients. We enjoyed everything ( Samosa, Pakora and Lamb).
We ordered Dal Makhni and Butter Chicken Curry. Perfect serve, fresh ingredients and amazing Taste. Garlic and Cheese na amazing too.
We really enjoyed everything and service was quick. We will definitely be back during our next Mackay trip.

a month agoLast night i went here, and the people were lovely. The butter chicken (medium) was so tender and impeccable. It was my first time coming to Masala Indian Cuisine and i have no complaints. the service was quick and once we asked for our food literally 10 minutes later it was ready. This place is amazing and i’m definitely going back. i’ve read another review about this place and it wasn’t the best but i also think it was unfair.. it was my 1st time coming to this restaurant and i was blown away of how good the food, service, and the kindness was. Moral of the story is don’t let ONE review determine on how you feel about a restaurant. i don’t regret coming here at all.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Roshni Indian Restaurant and had an enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which helped set the tone for a relaxing evening.

Not only is Roshni by Raj the best Indian restaurant in Mackay, it surpasses other Indian restaurants at which I’ve dined in Australia and internationally over the past 20 or so years!!!
The food was exceptional, the menu well organized into categories ie ‘from the garden’, good range of choices not to mention the attentive and friendly staff. Reasonably priced too. Overall, an absolute pleasure ❤️❤️❤️
My second visit here. Superb food, great service, good atmosphere. If you’re in Mackay and like Indian food you must go here. The food is fabulous!!! Wait staff also wonderful!!
Some of the best service in Mackay when it comes to taking care of customers and working to the strengths of the staff! Especially happy with the server Peta and one of the young blokes behind the counter – never once did we have to ask for service as the small environment and limited table space works well for a more personal dining experience. Would encourage any lover of food to make a reservation and try the menu as all the times I’ve been its always been fantastic!

The food did not disappoint! Garlic naan was heaven ?? customer service in store was so lovely.
We ordered over the phone, they said twenty minutes. We arrived and have to wait another 20- please give more accurate phone wait times
If they love the food and say 40 minutes – customers know it’s worth waiting for.
Had dinner there Friday night, service was excellent same with the food, had the goat curry spice level was great, nice and filling.
Atmosphere was very nice and the food came out quickly. The young gentlemen and lady were great with the service and very polite. Will 100% recommend for anybody.
