After many unanswered phone calls I decided to visit the company, after I fought my way through the knee high grass I finally found the office, OMG, this should have been a red flag, their service was as bad as their premises. It took 2 visits before they finally found my parcel If I could give a minus score I would. I will be asking the next time I purchase something on line which couriers they use, because I will not have anything to do with this company again

If I could leave -10 stars I would! My parcel has been sitting in the Dubbo depot since the beginning of January (2 weeks). After numerous efforts to try and contact the office, I drove 80kms to pick up my parcel. After 20 minutes of the ‘manager’ looking for my parcel she came over to chat to me. She said “I don’t have the time or man power to look for your parcel”. To which I replied “okay then well how are we going to resolve this because I really need my parcel and it’s here in your warehouse. She replied, almost grunting, “I’m aware of that but I don’t have the time and we close in 20minutes” (this was at 11:30am). I said well I’d like to know how you are going to resolve this so I can get my parcel. She started to shake her head and look me up and down. I then said “don’t look at me like I’m an idiot, how are we going to resolve this issue?”. She then starting yelling, throwing her arms in the air, stating that she’s been up since 2:30am and “ I don’t have friggin time to look for your parcel”, and then stormed off and slammed the office door behind her, still yelling very loudly. I have never been treated like this by any business/company/ or person for that matter. I think the ‘manager’ could use with some customer service training. I will never use or recommend this business as long as she works there. Completely hopeless and would advise others to use another freight company!

Dobels are easily one of the most disorganised, poorly managed and incompetent delivery companies. A lack of care and effort means they often don’t scan consignments when they arrive to the depot which provides no transparency in tracking information. If you’re after a delivery that is fast and reliable, this is absolutely not the courier. Parcels can sit in the warehouse for a number of weeks before they will mark it as ‘delivered’ when no attempt was even made. Customer service is poor and their solution to all problems is to bluntly lie and blame the on forwarding companies. If I could score Dobels a 0/5 stars, I would.

1 star is more than I would give this company for its pathetic service. This company were given the job by Allied transport to deliver a flat pack shed today (critical) for contractors to erect this weekend. The delivery driver Teneal turned up with only 1/2 of the shed. Confirmed through the office she would return with the rest & nothing has arrived. She didn’t even leave the 1/2 she arrived with. When they were allocated the job with specific instructions. Pathetic on all accounts.

This company is the worst I’ve ever come across my items have been sitting in the dubbo depot since the 29/12/23, no one answers the phone, there is no answering machine or any way of contacting them to actually talking to dubbo Any items I purchase from now on I will be asking what freight company they are using. And still waiting, so not happy with there Service.

  1. Never found any other freight company more difficult to deal with at the Dubbo depot. Urgent prescription medical items needed putting lives in danger delivery refused even though receiver happy to give authorisation to leave at premises. Never use this company not willing to solve problems or assist customer trying to obtain prescription supplies. This feedback is honest opinion at time of posting. Will be taking this further and posting bad experiences all over social media

  2. I’m sick of having to go to the depot to receive a parcel. Leave it at the door! Throwing it on the roof would be more convenient then having to go the depot and put up with the admin’s poor attitude.
Let’s just say, I can see why there is a sign on the front door stating “violence will not be tolerated”
I feel like punching something every time I go too.

  3. If I could put less than one star for midstate freight Dubbo I would. Absolutely disgusting admin, rude and disrespectful. Late parcel delivery, spoke to me like an absolute dog. Do not recommend.

  4. Worst courier company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Save your money people promise the world and give you damaged goods. Then blame everyone for the damage bar themselves. This is not finished with by a long shot

  5. Just had a delivery through Mid State freight and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The original item arrived damaged and the driver was very helpful dealt with it professionally. The company we purchased the item from had a replacement resent and delivered by the same driver. Again very professional and helpful. Excellent team member for you guys. Thank you
