a year agoNice little coffee shop,, inside the Charmhaven garden centre,, staff very friendly,, plenty of parking,, plenty to choose from,, we where there for breakfast and loved it,, menu for lunch made us think of next time,, the garden centre has alot of items for every one interest,, from life size crocodile,, chickens,, Coco nut pot hangers,, wind chimes and alot more,, see you there5 years agoNice, well laid out nursery. It isn’t a large place but they have a pretty good selection at fairly reasonable prices. The staff are quite friendly and even assist with carrying things out to your car. There’s also a nice little cafe inside with really nice fun staff. I love visiting this place.3 months agoI really like this nursery but it really needs money spent on it with a update. The staff are great but the place is very old and not loved. If they spent a bit of money on it the place could be great.2 months agoAlways great value and good prices on bulk goods. Been going here for years and always get good advise and good products.4 months agoCharmhaven have great service, they don’t harass you every minute yet if you need advice the are there to help. The certainly have the best plants, yeah sure they plants aren’t staring at you the prettiest or the loudest look at me style but I quarantee they will survive the harshest of summers because they aren’t been watered everyday which is what they want and need to build up being Drought tolerant. How many times do people go to the other big chain stores, buy plants and find the plants have dropped their standards and aren’t looking that pretty , half dead or dying , true , yes because they haven’t kept up the water EVERY SINGLE DAY, why because they are used to this and this is why they die. Common sense really but that’s why unfortunately people sell more than others because if greed not common sense. And if you ask the others any gardening C or plant care alot of the times they don’t know any knowledge about the topic. I have had shop assistant refer to a book or Google Apparently the is no called RESEARCH. What happened to the good old days of Studying at TAFE by reading you know Theory, practical work and exams, not bloody looking up Google. That’s not studying. Wear your plants off the water gradually, don’t water them every day and you’ll find in the long run you too will have big beautiful blousy plants just like the big major stores and you’ll even save money ?. So buy your plants if the smaller Nurseries and you’ll save money in the long run and also support you Local business.

Bit of a mixed feeling. The location is beautiful, with the lush green gardens. The coffee is great, but we were less impressed by the food. We ordered the waffle stack and the eggs Benny with Salmon. It wasn’t bad, but imbalanced. The waffles were plain, and the jam/sauce was overwhelmingly sweet. The eggs Benny had too much mayonaise-type of Hollandaise sauce on them.
Would come back for the location, but hope to find some better dishes on the menu
‘The Chef’s Garden’ café is a pleasant outdoor location for a casual brunch if you’re visiting ‘Impacts Plant Nursery’. The cafe is somewhat hidden at the end of a short trail through the towering plants in the garden. The food is freshly prepared to order and the staff at the cafe (and also the nursery itself) are accommodating and helpful. We stopped by to pick up some herbs for the home garden, along with potted plants and ceramics last week – but appreciated a hot chocolate with our lunch beforehand. The seating at the dining location is under cover and this provides relief from the weather, regardless of time of year. Pricing for food is reasonable and the nursery products are apparently competitively priced (according to my companions who were plant shopping at the time). We’ve been visiting this site for family lunch and occasional nursery needs since mid-2000s.
TIP for cooler months: Bring a jacket if it’s chilly in the morning – due to the cafe’s open-walled location.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We went there for a cherry blossom tree and left with a truck full of plants. There a cafe nestled in the tall trees and a beautiful board walk winding around the garden. Definitely a must to see.
OMG! What a beautiful place to have something to eat!
My first visit on Friday and it didn’t disappoint.
The surroundings are magnificent, the food is just perfect and the staff are so friendly & engaging.
Booking breakfast for my 60th in November!
Definately will visit again, I’m keen to try out their cafe but it being Christmas Eve and a spur of the moment visit on our end we missed the cafe’s open hours today but the nursery was open and full of bright and healthy plants ??? Plenty of indoors plants as well.
I do hope they increase their large indoor plant pot range though! ?
