20 minutes for them to make a burger then 5 more for the chips. The burger was cold the chips were hot but could have been cooked a little more. No paper in the order kiosk Customer service there wasn’t any .

Was in the area during the 30c chocolate soft serve cone promotion so ordered one to try. But was informed when picking up that they don’t have chocolate… sad face… the cone broke part way but thankfully managed to avoid spillage.

The frozen drinks where melted by the time the food was done, the sandwiches sat on pass for nearly 10 minutes, at one point the chips where sitting in containers and the sandwiches where in the bag on pass and it took about 4 minutes for anyone to decide to put them in the bag. The mcribs had almost no BBQ sauce, and no pickles, the chips where both substantially less than a large portion normally is, and the food was cold. In my years working in kitchens I’ve never seen such a shambolic display.

Came at 3 pm on a Saturday and met with a rude lady Who just continued making drinks, even though half of them were all melted on the counter.

Was waiting for over 20 minutes for an iced coffee which was dreadful tasting.

The poor manager seem to be very exhausted and clear that they are very understaffed and nice.

Sadly, I will say they need more training on their staff and more staff, this is my first poor experience at McDonald’s.

Wish I could put minus for service.. The self service machine was out of paper, no one cared about fixing it. The 3-4 young persons were just starting their puberty and hated their life so badly.. I got a tiny soft serve in a cup because the lady mistaken chocolate and vanilla one with topping that she made a less nice one, and I don’t even want to start with my partner ones. ? This shop is a joke..

  1. First time visit and really enjoyed having a quick bite to eat.
The young girl when I asked a question was unsure but showed initiative to help with a solution and a smile on her face. It was just refreshing and unexpected from other similar places I visit when asking the younger staff questions.

Came for a dinner and the food looked and tasted great. I always have to try the parmigiana when I go new places and this one was on the better side. Thick chicken breast and everything just tasted fresh.
My mouth waters thinking about my next visit here.
Everything seemed really nicely set out. Not over crowded and clean which makes for a relaxing evening. The entertainment was playing some great tunes that had some ppl dancing the night away.
    Looking forward to coming back

Only slight critique, theres a wall that has name of service men and woman on gold plates. It was in a dark corner. And using our phone lights it was reflecting to much and couldn’t read names. Unfortunately we were unable to find my friends grandfathers one.

  2. Nice easy place to bring my elderly mum for dinner with some friends. Local to the GC. In Southport for an event. Car parking underneath off Lawson St, elevator to entrance, airconditioning, nice food at reasonable prices. Not noisy. Good service.
Not a fan of the house Gin in the G&T, didn’t end up drinking it.

  3. They didn’t have Aperol Spritz nor any idea what one was when I asked which can be forgiven especially when you have young bar staff however it’s a staple drink for those aspiring boojey bars on the GC. When our food came out they had ran out of burger buns so used two pieces of toast instead. When presented with our food there was no offer of a complementary drink or free dessert, instead it was a shoulder shrug. Again, young staff and I don’t aim my criticism at them however the people responsible for running the venue need to pick up their game.

  4. Friday 12/1 great venue with good choice of pub style food and drink, we usually enjoy the entertainment but the trio on Friday were TOO loud. Despite being asked twice by Duty Manager to turn down the volume it was still much too loud, eventually forcing us and a few others to leave earlier than normal. Shame!!!
