in the last weekWorst Experience EVER! I went in for a full face wax 2 days before going on holiday overseas. A young female i hadn’t had before was on by herself (i had previously been here 2 or 3 times) Usually the other ladies would wax everywhere except on the sides of my eyes, they would thread that area. This particular female waxed everywhere. I am no expert in these things and didn’t know any better but it hurt more than previous times and I walked out with a sore face, the girl said it’s okay the pain will go away soon. I was left with pain and redness that day and a huge abrasion when i woke the next morning – right before I was going overseas may i remind you. I went back the next day to show them the result of a full face wax from the previous day, one of the usual ladies was on (she is one of the owners) she was apologetic and said her staff member had waxed my face incorrectly by not holding my skin when pulling off the wax strips. I requested a refund to which she said she couldn’t do and offered me an instore voucher – i refused the voucher because I will never go back there as a customer ever again.I ended up being overseas on holiday embarrassed of my face, a good friend of mine even thought I had been in a fight.
About 3 days later I was left with pigmentation and subsequently scarring.
DO NOT GO HERE!
If you like your skin the way it is, i implore you to go somewhere else!!
2 weeks agoWorst service ever. I needed my eyebrows done asap and checked out all the local stores but they were all busy except this store. I asked for my eyebrows to be waxed as threading hurts me more. She applies wax to one side and then she was on her phone speaking well not speaking but yelling in another language. Now the wax has cooled too much and is harder to rip off. Applies more wax and then spends 10 minutes yelling on her phone again. Finally comes back to remove wax and tells me my lips are very hairy like man. So I say OK wax and once again the wax hardens cos she is on her phone again. Now she starts threading and I see she has gotten the wax inside my nose too…. NEVER EVER AGAIN…she also tries to sell me wrinkle cream being I’m over 60 I do have wrinkles.. it seems to be normal for this store to treat customers this way. It should never take 45 minutes for a eyebrows and lip wax and I know now why it was empty and no doubt going out business soon which is sad for the owners3 months agoAwesome experience! The lash tech was so knowledgeable and knows what’s the best way to get our lashes looking really good and suits our eye shape. Me and my friend went the first time to have our eye lash extensions and eyebrow henna. Threading zone definitely exceeded expectations ?4 months agoHighly recommend this store! Always does a fantastic job! Fast efficient and painless for threading! Absolutely amazing! Definitely give them a go. I’ve been getting my brows threaded for 13 years and this is by far the best place.2 months agoI had the most painful lash lift and tint. She rubbed my eyeball with a dry cotton pad. My lashes look awful!! She was rough and didnt care when my eyes were burning, I told her about 3 times and she didnt take the stuff off so I did. Expensive too!

Wasn’t happy with the coulor but spoke to Bradley and he was happy to fix it for me . And I’m so happy with the coulor now will definitely come back to see him . He even fixed my hair cut from my regular hairdresser looks amazing now
Totally satisfied with my session today with Brad. Always generous with his time and sharing his wisdom with exciting colours. 18 months ago my hair was a concave ball of fizz. Brad has worked his magic with my hair and now I have beautiful long silky hair. The girls are super friendly too and sprinkle their fairy dust ensuring all customers leave their shop feeling like a million dollars. Thankyou team Rowson ? ❤️
Look, I was tired by the end of my experience and wanted to get out of there but I got home and just cried. The cut wasn’t what I wanted, I wanted it more layered as it feels thicker at the bottom I have extremely thick hair. I should have opted for the full blow dry but didn’t because I didn’t want to keep staff past closing time. I don’t know if the stylist was having an off day (we all have them) but someone with their experience should appear more confident in what they are doing. I have never had a bad experience with my hair at Rowson O’Connor until now. I wanted to feel great with my new and wanted to sit with it for a few days but I’m still feeling uneasy about it. The colour itself is a lot brighter I am happy with that 🙂

Tracey did a phenomenal job colouring my hair and fixing a previous job from another salon (that I decided to try out of convenience.) She also noticed that my hair had been cut unevenly previously and she spent time fixing it for me. Not once did she make me feel like I was taking up too much of her time, despite it being a Friday arvo! Thank you, Tracey, you really understood the assignment and I couldn’t be anymore happier and confident with the end result. You guys are a dream team and I’m so grateful to have found this salon!!
