3 weeks agoWorst dinner we had ever in Indian Restaurant, We are Punjabi and know the taste of every single chicken curry. I am chef’s wife and make better chicken curry at home than your restaurant. It’s only one Indian Restaurant in Geraldton and the way you present Indian food, not good.. Very Bad3 months agoWe were in Geraldton for a day and tried Brown Boys for our lunch. Amazing atmosphere, very nice and clean place. Attentive front house lady. Rahul(owner) is super friendly and very helpful and patient to talk over different curries. We had Mango Chicken spicy with Dal rice roti and garlic naan. The food was delicious and without a fault. The mango chicken was enough large to serve one person with enough chicken in it. The rice portion was enough to share between the two. It was Saturday afternoon, restaurant was busy with other diners, takeaways and deliveries. On the realistic ground, the staff did very well to handle the pressure. It’s hard to get that sort of quality in Perth nowadays. Definitely not at that reasonable price. We were a bit sceptical after reading a few reviews but we are glad we tried it and just loved it. We would love to explore more curries on our next visit.2 weeks agoNo idea why this place is not 4.5 and above. The food is simply amazing. I specifically come to Geraldton from Perth the second time just to dine here. It is so good. Food is cooked with much love and great taste. This place definitely deserves to get higher rating.9 months agoWe had a dine in meal and the food was brilliant. Legitimately far better than the majority of Indian food I’ve eaten in Sydney. The paneer tikka, curries and naan were delicious and the curry gravy was nice and thick. The place is a small business clearly with a lot of telephone and online orders and the customer service was totally fine, you just need to be realistic as to how attentative they can be. I’d gladly return.a week agoGreat food and customer service. We went for dinner with family and friends 18ppl and the food was great as per our order. 100% recommend this place. A big shout out to the waitress who served us too.

The host is an engaging, friendly gentleman with an impossible to hide passion for food. The results are memorable. From a traditional Syrian breakfast that was full of flavour and textures to a crayfish pie that I wished would never end, the creative genius has made a restaurant that would satisfy customers in a major city anywhere. I highly recommend people try this place. Geraldton, you lucky lucky people.
Had an amazing dinner tonight at Laian. They accommodated us outside with our small dog – even provided her with water. Food was fantastic – we had the special Crayfish, freekeh, and the mash potatoes. Mash was the creamiest, smoothest I’ve ever tasted in my life! The Moussaka was rich and delicious. We also stuffed ourselves with Falafel for entree, Arabic Pancake and Persian Love cake – all divine. The lady who served us throughout the evening was wonderful and hospitable, sorry we didn’t get her name. 10/10 will return!

We feel like this place is a hidden Gem! It was absolutely beautiful sitting outside, very clean and tidy. The service was great and didn’t have to wait long at all. My husband had a yummy iced mocha and the Big Breakfast, and I had a Marinara Linguine. We loved it, it’s not the normal Aussie style food. The food is all handmade and you can tell from the quality of the food that it is. My pasta was freshly made and the creamy hommus was fresh and a nice touch on a warm day. We will definitely be back to enjoy again! Thank you

Best shakshuka I have ever had – the talent and passion behind it is so evident. Great coffee too. I even asked if they had vegan options and the chef came out to explain what he could do. I always recommend Laian to locals and guests alike. Thanks!
