7 months agoCurry in a hurry is a cool spot to grab a bite when you’re on a road trip and need a food break. We tried all their curries, and let me tell you, their butter chicken is hands down the best I’ve had in Australia. They offer a restricted, but nice, variety of curry options, and their freshly made naan bread from the tandoori oven is on point.Goody (I hope I got the name right) is an amazing cook and treated us like a caring Indian mother. We felt totally spoiled. We’ve been back a few times already and will definitely swing by whenever we’re near Golbourn.
Don’t let the restaurant’s appearance fool you, the food is seriously delicious. The friendly lady serving will take great care of you. Give it a shot, you won’t regret it.
a week agoWhat a find. The Naan bread is freshly cooked from dough!! And the Curries were delicious. Definitely a great stop for food on the highway!6 months agoI was driving back to Sydney after a short vacation with my family and decided to grab some lunch at Goulburn and found this gem of a place. The restaurant retained the flavours and food tasted authentic. We loved the food so much that we ended up doing a take away as well.Butter chicken is a must try
Potatoes and Peas curry is mouth watering.
I also had the opportunity to speak to the owner and heard about his journey in Australia and how much he enjoys what he does.

Delicious authentic food that is very affordable will definitely make this the dinner stop on the way up and down the coast from Sydney!3 months agoWe had amazing lunch with Aloo Matar and butter chicken! The lady allowed us to come in early than the opening times! Very yummy food!

Absolutely delicious food, very nice atmosphere and the server Jessica, though serving by herself, was very efficient and has a photographic memory and it was a delight watching her work. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. If you are in Goulburn, you really need to check this place out..,

*don’t be deceived by the garlic prawn pic. This was HOT! Like so spicy hot we needed milk (unless we were given the wrong dish, that is) more tomato based sauce than “light”
Awesome tasty food! Far far surpassed expectations, and, I have very high expectations for Indian foods.
The lamb chops and the goat curry were both super super yummy
Get there early as they shut down inside dining by 8:30PM or so, saw them turn away multiple families after 8:30 PM
Didn’t receive any service at all. We went there because the good review. However we were shocked when we were told the food we ordered was not available that day. We were told they didn’t serve Sikh kebab. Tandoori and chicken tikka.they didn’t service any lasi either. We then saw staff brought out lasi and tandoori chicken to guests sitting next to us. When enquired about why we couldn’t order them we were told they didn’t have staff to make those things.
