Great place, the food is amazing. The pies and other baked goods aren’t the same-ol pie you get everywhere else. Really friendly people too. Don’t miss this place. Here’s some loaded popcorn chicken fries with gravy. Look at that weight!

Great little corner shop & takeaway… they sell milk, bread & other products. It has a huge lollies shop. Sells Guyra bread, pies & sausage rolls… but you have to be fast as it sells out quite quickly. But they can also give cold pies to heat yourself. They make a great almond latte or mocha & have a little collection of cakes & pastries. The takeaway is really delicious & they have a good range.. garden salad & sandwiches. I would love to be able to get a Grilled barramundi or salmon… but really that’s about my only issue. I highly recommend this very handy store. The workers are hard working, helpful & polite. It tends to be quite a popular & busy little place. Oh & they have newspapers & magazines. (Just a few). The prices are good… very handy convenience store! Council needs to fix the bump in the zebra crossing. If your staying in Armidale or new to the area this is a awesome little shop, highly recommend… great for kids too. I’m dying to try their soft serve icecream & they do school lunches. The takeaway is on Menulog & there is a app you can also download. It’s obviously popular because you often see the Menulog drivers picking up food for delivery! Great little shop!

  1. Offers an experience of good shopping. No free trollies you have to insert a coin before taking trolley with you though you can use hand basket.
Comparatively offers low prices fruits and vegetables than woolies and coles.

  2. The range isnt extensive, but it is cheaper than woolworths, and people have to take their trolley back instead of being selfish, lazy drongos and leaving them everywhere you want to park. That’s a win in my book; unfortunately, you need to be careful on the way out, seen a few cars grinded on the road.

  3. Came in from an afternoon at Cathedral Rock NP so my daughter was in desperate need to go toilet. The lady here was super lovely and allowed her to use the staff toilet while I shopped in store. Thank you – this was super sweet!

This is a nice Aldi store with self checkouts available in addition to the regular checkouts. We were there at 7pm so there were some items sold out – eg. bread.

  4. Arrived with a box trailer after a 2 hr., drive, to get there, and found aldi had a reasonable sized carpark NOT like port Macquarie. Also Armidale store had self serve cash registers which I like because I don’t usually get many items.
Aldi staff at this Armidale store were happy and helpful like the ones at the Grafton store; All good ⚖️✌️
NOTE; I HOPE Aldi realises how much they could benefit from opening up a store in Glenn Innes with the new England hwy right there +++.
