a week agoGood service but they charge more after you return thr car for fuel even when you did refill for full tank that a bit spam,I am so disappointed and also the car running not smooth either. Not recommended.9 months agoGreat service. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Definitely will using their service again10 months agoHave rented multiple times. Rob and his team at Budget Canberra are fantastic – always friendly, responsive, and helpful. Cannot recommend them highly enough, will give 6 stars if possible.5 years agoAwesome prices and the best staff. They are the most friendly and customer focused staff I have ever seen. They really look after their clients. So glad that I bumped into them by default. Thanks guys.4 years agoTerrible service. Wait times ridiculous and phone menu options long winded. Always being patched through to another operator where the call centres are clearly offshore. Never return calls and booking system woeful. Would never use again unless I can speak with someone from the store I’m booking from.

Booked online, and changed my pick-up time after calling budget canberra airport. The Woman from budget said no problems with changing to 8.30am.
Arrived after flying in, we walk to the office and its closed! Called budget to remedy and I was told that they couldn’t do anything as it was booked through a 3rd party..
Why not let us choose pickup time at booking online? And why say you can change the time when you’re not open? just an annoying, unprofessional encounter.
They do not answer phone calls. On my 10th attempt. They have double-charged me to the tune of $943 and they will not answer the phone to resolve this. These guys are criminals. be very careful with these guys. book with another company.
Booked and paid for online. Turned up and they said they can’t rent the car to me without me presenting a physical piece of plastic. I have been able to pick up cars from other legacy car rental places in the past by just giving a card number but they refused. Okay so I’ll just use KINTO and get my money back. What’s that? Can’t get a refund, have to call customer service. Customer service says there is a cancellation fee of $165 which is more than the cost of the booking. But not to worry: all of this is explained in their TERMS AND CONDITIONS to which I agreed when I rented it. Never mind that if I read all the T&Cs I am presented with on a daily basis that is basically all I would ever do. My take home lesson from this experience is that KINTO is the future and legacy car rentals should get in the bin where they belong. EDIT: Budget has replied that you need a physical card to book. I’m aware of that. They obviously didn’t read my review properly. The issue is not that I couldn’t rent the car, the issue is that they charged me a cancellation fee that exceeded the original cost of the booking after refusing to provide me with the service for which I’d paid.
Pre paid my reservation online. Easiest car pick up and return I’ve had with car rentals.
Booked a moving van over the phone, which was confirmed to be available and took annual leave to move house. At this location would not provide the vehicle as they did not inform us it was booked that day. We drove and paid to be there and they offered no help or compensation for their booking mistake. No communication or functional booking system. Go with literally any other vehicle hire company.
