Just ordered tacos at around 3:15 today to start eating them and to find MOLD in the cheese!! What the hell! I am not the type to complain about anything but this is absolutely disgusting!

I hate the way majority of the staff work the drive through. Yes some of them are friendly but making an order is painful. If I could make a suggestion when taking an order the staff should be asking all the questions not just “anything else?” Ask me if I want it in a meal or if I want quac and sour cream with the burrito etc Makes me feel like I’m doing your job for you.

There’s also been a few times items have been missing etc the chicken from my “mild chicken burrito bowl” the chipotle mayo Drinks haven’t been given to me etc Portion sizes are quite small compared to other GYG’s that my partner and I have been too.

I think there’s a lot of improvement that needs to be done.

Love the food. My only complaint is when ordering takeaway, please stop putting the cold drinks in the bag with the hot food. The food gets cold and the drinks get warm. Just hand the drinks to us separately!

Oversmart, rude person behind the counter. No care factor for taking a proper food order. And teach your staff some manners, and train them on better customer service. Didn’t even clean the table when we requested. Saving factor is the food which is really good.

It’s one of the rare OTR franchisee food offers whose service is still constantly good. Food was fesh and hot, service was quick, and delivery was as well. The kitchen was clean, and there was no garbage in the dining area. Keep up the good work. Thanks for a nice experience.

  1. Normally their food is amazing but they tend to forget a few things. I added extra pico de gallo and they took it out… I just have meat and rice now ? I paid extra too ?

  2. I have been a fan of Mexican food but this one disappointed me.

I had Chicken Burrito ? and it was not like as I expected. It was too thin and gravy and beans didn’t taste well.

I used to eat from Mad Max and they have amazing flavour and taste. Guzman is also a big franchise in Australia but I didn’t like the food.

Overall, it was an okay experience so I am giving them 2 stars.

  3. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I want to share my feedback. In order chicken burrito bowl and decided to make it into a meal. I ordered online for convenience reasons. I was advised via the app that my order was ready. I advised a staff member, who stated it wasn’t ready yet. I waited nearly 10 more minutes before that moment worked out my order was ready and was sitting on the counter. The chips were limp and barely warm. I threw them out. The burrito bowl was okay, not great. Didn’t taste fresh. Chicken was dry and some pieces burnt. Not the greatest meal, and certainly haven’t had issues at this restaurant before, so maybe a one off.

  4. I can see why all GYG aren’t the same quality like Anzac Hwy and Glenelg. The one in town (King William Street, Adelaide) today wasn’t packed like it was a couple of years ago.

Tried the new Calli Chicken tender burrito.

Lilydale Chicken tenders are good quality.
The burrito was a cold wrap, uncooked and not interesting at all. It brought the whole experience down. What could replace it? A hot, cooked and slightly crispy wrap. That would make all the difference.
At $14.90 it was nowhere near value for money as it contained 1 or 2 very small chicken strips and very little salad and was stuffed with cheap cold soggy chips to appear to be a big meal.
Total waste of time. Should have gone to KFC like planned.
The Corona was very fairly priced at $7. Music was blaring way too loud. Like people are trying to relax on their lunch break!

My faves are the chicken tacos. They are pretty good. But uncooked barritos wraps stuffed with chips at $14.90 …. Don’t kid yourselves.

    Hand sanitizer didn’t work either.

  5. First time we tried Guzman and it is quite nice.
For $9.20, the kids meal with burrito option is a good price and quite enough for an adult with a small appetite or a kid. The $3 taco was not so impressive- very empty with not much filling and did not look like the picture on the board.
There is indoor and outdoor seating upstairs but not wheelchair accessible.
The outdoor seating area is nice if you don’t mind eating with birds waiting for the leftovers.
Overall, I would come back, but next time I will sit indoors.
