3 weeks agoThey have never done me wrong, in regards to their service. The staff are always friendly and chatty.Massive fan of the way they make their coffee. I have yet to experience that “burnt” taste and they’re always made at the perfect temperature and strength.
Their pies are delicious and they have one of the best sausage rolls out there.
Big fan of the french vanilla slice and also of their florentines.
4 months agoService at this place atrocious. Had my order substituted without even bothering to check with the customer and all the guy on the phone could do to answer to it was “um..”.. “aahhh”. A: Train your staff better and B: If all you have is pre packaged goods that you run out of, make updates to show your stock levels or at least communicate properly. Busy morning and all the staff was doing their very best to cater to all the customers. Kudos to them.
There wasnt any chilli on the chilli crab scramble, was expecting it to be spicy. Other dishes was okay.
Booking on line was very easy. Food was good, decadent cakes and coffee even better! Cakes looked and tasted amazing.
Service was a bit hit and miss, largely due to the new staff who were still finding their feet. One of the dishes arrived cold. Understandable that things will happen, especially with the staffing challenges in the sector. But the situation was very well handled by the manager. Quite impressive. It was lovely to see it handled so professionally and beyond expectation. Turned the situation from “we might try somewhere else next time” to a “we will be back!”.
You might expect some bumpy service for a little while but please support the team as they learn. And try one of their cakes!
I’ve been here a few times now and cannot fault it.
The service is exemplary and the food/drinks delicious.
