2 years agoFor people want a quick description. This is basically Vietnamese town similar to China town. Great place for shopping fresh food or just browsing in general. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. _ Heaps of parking space nearby _ Lots of fresh groceries and fruit option _ Lots of street food and drink options _ Have restaurants if you want a sit down _ Have heaps of public sitting area inside the square _ Near woolies in Inala Plaza if you want shopping in there as well Other notes: _ Really need better signage. The market walking path is not really visible from the car park. _ No designed smoking area so people just smoke everywhere. Very smelly and not kids friendly. _ Toilet facilities need better maintenance.3 years agoInala Fish Market is the one the freshest and have the best products comparing with the other fish market in the Inala mall. You will find a lot of different seafood varieties.Staffs are quite funny and friendly with their attitude and jokes.
The only problem is the payment. They only accept cash payments. But it is not a huge problem.
a year agoDefinitely expensive!!! Veggies are moderately expensive, you can find bitter gourd, Indian egg plant, Okra, Guava!! I’d say worth visiting once in a while!!! Looking at the bill, I had to guess the price of the produce I bought!!2 years agoVery good place for grocery shopping. Fish markets offer great variety and cheaper prices. Nearby there are multiple fruit vegetables shops, some are not fresh, but cheaper.4 months agoFresh fish and the price is good.

Been coming here for a while now & it doesn’t disappoint! Great place for fresh seafood – we always come for full salmon filets & there was even a stingray to buy which was a first I had seen! Enjoy some yummy fish & chips & now fresh sushi – that just looked delicious in the window!
Always busy but doesn’t take long for your food to be ready! All your traditional favourites battered, crumbed & grilled in good portions. You can dine in at the indoor & outdoor areas or take away! Space for prams & mobility vehicles, bathroom facilities available as well.
Staff are always friendly & helpful! Highly recommend & will be back!
While at Morningside this morning, we decided to visit The Fish Factory and it was an eye-opener. There was an extensive variety of fresh Seafood, all beautifully presented and reasonably priced. We left with a whole John Dory (for pan-frying) and Lobster Tails (for grilling Mornay style). Thank you to the wonderful staff.
Oysters bought on Dec 23rd were not fresh and had a funny taste and smell. Hopefully we did not eat much and no one got sick.
Also we didn’t like that oysters were already opened and killed before we bought it, better when they are still closed and alive.
Will not go there again.
Usually quite good, unfortunately on this occasion the raw prawn meat we were sold on Saturday night (9pm) and told were fresh and could be eaten on Monday morning were not fresh and smelled like amonia. (It goes without saying that they’ve constantly been kept in the cold from the shop to home).
Looking at the receipt it also looked like we were overcharged on the price per kg from what was displayed.
The rest of the fish was good, just disappointed that we were told that the prawns would be good but they weren’t.
Update: contacted the shop and got amazing customer service from Hayden. Thanks again ??
My favourite seafood store in Brisbane. The Fish Factory always has a large selection of fish and seafood available, even in the afternoon. The quality is great, I’ve never been disappointed.
