in the last weekMusic in dining room dropping the ‘F’ word was not very good. Particularly sitting there with young children. Decor is a bit dated and tacky but the food was worth it. Menu isn’t easy to read and it is unclear what some things are without asking, unless you’re a regular customer or have an Indian background. No staff were present in dining area for long periods which made it difficult to ask questions. Table water provided. We said the two little kids would share a mango lassi but no extra straw or glass was offered. The Godfather Indian beer is delicious and malty but not on the menu. Make sure you ask for it if you like trying different beers. The salted plain lassi tastes like sour cream or an eggy salty milk. The mango lassi was delicious and like most mango lassi we’ve had. We ordered drinks and they took a while to come out. We were asked halfway through our meal if I wanted the chai now or after so I said after. I would’ve liked it in the hour or so that we sat before eating though. The food was very good. The fish curry and the vegetable kofta were great for those who can tolerate a little spice, and the korma was a hit all round – with the kids too. The rice’s were brought out minutes after all the dishes and naans and we would’ve liked to have them so we could start our meal straight away. After dinner, we waited a few minutes and asked for the chai and it was another 10 minutes we waited to get it. It was so delicious though. We were keen for dessert but had to get our young kids to bed so decided not to worry about it, based on the wait time of drinks and dinner. We were there two hours, arriving at 6pm. There were four other people dining in but roughly half a dozen takeaway meal pickups so I’m sure the kitchen was working hard, as was the waitress. I believe that having another waitress would improve the customer service greatly and increase the likelihood of people ordering dessert, and of people coming back a second time.7 months agoThis place offers better food compared to many Indian restaurants. It has a family-friendly environment, and we have visited multiple times. The food is served quickly, and we particularly enjoyed the lamb rice with coconut soup. However, the payment process at the counter could be improved. I highly recommend this place for small parties and family meals. They have a parking lot at the back, which can be a bit confusing to find initially. Alternatively, there are only 2-3 roadside parking spots available in the front.a year agoWe went in for a family dine in experience which wasn’t that great. It felt they were short staffed as we couldn’t se anyone at the front counter or dining hall at the entrance. Staff seems a bit off too, also the food ordered was taking too long and the connectivity of food and hunger satisfaction was highly missed. Worned out ripped curtains in the alley gave a very untidy look. We ordered dal makhni which was ok. Handi paneer was too spicy instead of our request for being mild, roti and Naan were a bit dry.2 weeks agoThe food was amazing, though I think the wait could be shortened, but the food and fantastic atmosphere certainly made up for it. The chicken biryani we ordered was delicious, as was the chicken handi. The paneer handi was great, but the highlight was the roti not the tandoor but the indian chapati was a delight, very rare find…3 months agoVery close to the gold mines. We had a great experience having lunch there after visiting the mine. Though it did not impress us from outside, it was very Spacious inside. Food was delicious, fresh and of high quality. Much better than many of the Indian restaurants around. Would love to go there again.

Amazing dining experience at this restaurant! Comfy environment as well as delicious food.
Yummy food, great service and lovely atmoshphere. I went twice in one week. If you are looking for authentic india food I highly recommend this place.
Absolutely loved all the food we had. The staff was polite and nice. They had clean washrooms too. Will definitely recommend this.
Only saving grace was for the lassi. If you’re Indian especially from Delhi just avoid this place. Worst lamb kebabs I’ve ever had in my life.
Decor and service was good though
Called in on our way through to get some takeaway. Service was super friendly and food was delicious. Would be a great place to dine in, the restaurant was quite stylish. We got the Afghan paneer, Punjabi butter chicken and tikka chicken. All were amazing, had some really unique dishes I haven’t seen before. Must try!
