2 weeks agoExcellent place to gather and enjoy the sun and sea. Parking was full due to school holidays but found a spot eventually. Plenty of shade, fresh water and playground space for kids. Extra shade over sand areas to the left of main jetty. Smaller jetty with cordoned off swimming space easily accessible.a month agoJust stopped for a pit-stop, however very happy to see there is bespoke brewery there, our fav Goose café is there. Not sure if I like the Hilton Apts but if it brings revenue, then wonderful. Foreshore is always a delight. ?3 months agoGreat public areas, kids play areas, beautiful scenery and a number of good restaurants and bars. Number one pick for food and drinks is Equinox.2 months agoVery nice place to visit; lot beach activities, long bridge, boat jetty and under water aquarium are amazing4 weeks agoLovely beach good shade around for chill out. Definitely book your tickets in advance if you’d like to catch the train to the end of the jetty. On the way back it’s much easier to catch the train! So worth the view. The observatory is unmissable. Such a lovely experience!

The interpretive center offers valuable insights into the region’s rich marine life and history. Sunset walks along the jetty are a must, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. With its charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and iconic beauty, Busselton Jetty is a must-visit destination that leaves a lasting impression. Remember a hat and sunscreen 🙂
We managed to get 4 return train ticket at the last minute without any advanced booking within 15 minutes of departure, and it turned out to be an amazing and surprising pleasant experience!
We have been to Busselton Jetty many times over the years, but have always been walking to and from the end, all the way to the underwater conservatory. It was only by chance that we decided to buy tickets on a Sunday morning just before checking out of the newest hotel across the jetty, Hilton Garden Inn.
The trip to the underwater Conservatory at the end of the jetty took less than 20 minutes and allow us a stop of up to 8 minutes for Thomas The Tank Engine to turn around before jumping back to the train for the return trip back. it was a very relaxing and tranquil way to see Busselton Jetty and experience the environment.
The tickets to the underwater conservatory sold out quite often so we missed out this time and look forward to our return next time.
Highly recommend the train right as all profit goes to the maintenance of the iconic Busselton Jetty.
Nice way to spend a couple of hours on a slow walk. Well it was for me you can get a train. We were lucky enough to see a sail training ship mired alongside and to watch them cast off
Busselton jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Just over 1.8km long protected waters of Geographe Bay which is a scuba dive zone.
You can either walk it or dip your hand in the pocket and ride the train!
Plenty kids and adults enjoying a jump off the jetty! This is an iconic landmark and must see when visiting Busselton!
