a week agoI had an amazing haircut here on the 18/1 (I am terrible with names but great at faces) by a blonde woman with shoulder length hair. (May have spoken Arabic / Lebanese)She was very skilled at cutting and my hair was a complete long mess and now it looks fabulous.
All for $55. Best value and perfect haircut. Great work!
2 weeks agoI went today for Half head foils and Chloe was awesome. I loved her work, she was so patient And calm and answered all my queries, she gave my hair a beautiful makeover. I am so happy with her service will come back for sure.3 months ago“I’m always nervous when I try out a new barber, but Garry put me at ease right away. He’s a great listener and communicator, and he really knows his craft. He gave me the exact cut I wanted, and even suggested a style that would work well for my hair type. I’ll definitely be coming back!”3 months agoWent here today after receiving a great cut from Gary on Friday, however walked out of there today with chemical burns to my entire scalp and forehead after getting my hair dyed by Sarah. This was after almost 4 hours of bleach sitting on my scalp and two rounds of highlights being applied despite me firmly saying ‘this really really hurts’ TWICE. The first time this statement was simply laughed off and she continued and the 2nd time she just went ‘yeah…’ and continued. Sarah’s English isn’t good at all and while I don’t mind this in general the fact that she didn’t understand that I was in pain despite me saying it twice and me being visibly upset is unacceptable. If you’re working with chemicals that could hurt someone as badly as they hurt me you should be able to understand when someone is in pain. Then she wanted me to come in again in a few days so she could fix up the colour she did on my hair, which had patches of yellow in the front despite me asking for silver. There was also a big blonde line on my undercut which I luckily don’t mind. A friend of mine also received a redye of her blonde which ended up looking very dead and lifeless, almost being one flat colour. Very disappointed.4 months agoHad a worst haircut experience ever in my life. There was a guy who cut my hair and he literally didn’t know what he was doing. I saw him photo few time that I want may hair like this but he cut my hair exactly opposite. Usually other barber takes 20-30 mins to cut my hair but for the same cut he took over 1 hour and it was a very simple hair cut. I will never recommend anyone to this place where the business owner keep such an unexperienced staff to serve customers. So disappointed by the service today and it was a total waste of a time and money.

I had an absolutely amazing visit. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and gave them a blank canvas ( extra long hair) to work with. Annie gave it a beautiful colour hiding all those wisdom strands lol. And Ian cut my hair in a way that took the weight out and brought my curls back. He suggested I embrace the wild that is my hair. And I love the result. Easy to care for style. He truly is the master of hair

Honestly I have had so many bad experiences with my hair in my life. I didn’t like my hair on my engagement or bridal shower. I only ever loved it on my wedding but that hairdresser is from Sydney. So I was on the hunt for a new hairdresser as I have relocated to Geelong. And Rixon hairdressing did not disappoint. They did an amazing job. I communicated everything I wanted and they did exactly that. My hair feels clean, healthy and the cut is amazing. I would definitely be going here from now on 🙂
