2 months agoWhile staying with my elderly mum for a couple of weeks I was able to bring her to Solomon’s twice, her very favourite Albany cafe. I loved that she was greeted with big smiles and made a fuss of, nobody rushed her and they all took time to say hi when she wanted to introduce me. It feels lovely to know that she’s treated this way. Decent selection of shops with Coles and Kmart as anchor stores, while the shopping centre was fantastic when it first opened, it’s starting to look a lot more dated now.
Parking can be a pain but at least there’s a good amount and it’s underground out of the weather.
People seem friendly enough and while there’s no food outlets inside, there’s plenty of options outside.
So much wasted potential in this plaza and in this city. 40,000+ people, no Sunday trading unless you go to IGA or Bunnings, everything opens late and shuts early. Shire need to get it together, it’s 2023
Needs to be kept cleaner and alot more security is needed for the shops, the amount of theft is outrages!!! And not cool for the employees and customers having to deal with it!!!
Good variety of shops and good parking under cover.
Please fix the elevator. Why is it taking so long. Needs better signage to inform of the issue.
