2 months agoSELF-SERVE PHOTOS – I’ve given up on this store/service. My last 3 visits have been frustratingly slow, the wifi photo transfer fails more often than it works and if I actually manage to get all the way to the checkout the photo quality of the prints is terrible – dark and poor contrast. Once I asked the photo desk to reprint on their machine and it was barely any better. I’ve now moved to Kmart where I its quick, no fuss and excellent print quality. No other Officeworks store in Melbourne compares to this store’s art section. I could spend hours browsing here! Papers, pencils, brushes, paint, spray paint, ceramic paint, glass paint, liquid inks, tools, sketchbooks, pastels, oils, acrylics, watercolour, Lino cutting; you name it they have it and more. If you’re in the area and in need of anything art – go here and you won’t be disappointed. Kaden also provided a very excellent service regarding printing. They were very patient and gave their undivided attention to make sure I left the store feeling satisfied.a month agoExtremely poor customer service. By which, I mean there is none. I needed assistance in the stationary section and there were no staff anywhere. I walked up and down the stationary section, which is huge, and not one single worker. This is midday on a Saturday – one would imagine there would be plenty of workers. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Really ridiculous printing process. I ordered 50 basic flyers. The system said it would be ready in 1 week, which I thought was a bit excessive, but then 1 and a half weeks later I just get an email with the invoice. I thought it must be ready to pick up, but I had to look through the website to eventually find the files had only just been sent to the store and it will now be ready in 3-5 days.
It really is quite insane that it takes so long to get a few flyers printed. I only went here because I thought it would be quick! Next time I will definitely use a smaller, independent print store.
James and Max were super friendly and helpful. But I have to say Jonathan is the rudest service worker I have ever met. Not helpful and gave me an attitude for coming up the counter despite being told by another worker to go to the counter. Not only were they super rude, they cannot help resolve my issue as well and another member had to step in
Omg I cannot express how thankful I am towards the lovely team members here. Annie and Nabila are soooo helpful. They are literally the best. So long story short I got my passport photos from Australia Post Footscray a week ago and the passport office rejected them because they are not up to standards so today feeling quite disappointed, I walked into their outlet and told them what happened and Annie offered to take the photos for me and waited for me to upload into the passport online portal to get approved. Nabila was there to offer me emotional support. I didn’t expect this level of customer service whilst I was so bummed and stressed out with all the documentation preparation. I’m sooooooo happy those photos got approved just in one go. And they not only meet the standards but also look sooooo good with fantastic lighting. Annie is just a pro in photo taking. You guys are the best??
AMITY was incredibly helpful with a recent purchase of a mobile. A very polite manner over the phone and, when I went through some spec details about the mobile, her attention to detail was faultless! Very switched on! And, she didn’t seem to mind that I called her, “Amityville” – and then recommended the book to her, (“The Amityville Horror”)!! But, there’s no horror about AMITY! She’s an absolute delight. Very professional and poised to help! Well done!!
The service is inefficient with limited manpower, resulting in a frustratingly slow experience. Waiting times for basic laminating services extend beyond 10 minutes, making the process quite inconvenient.
