    Definitely stop off on your drive in and run up the sand dune to get a view of Uluru and kata-juta. Wouldn’t recommend camping here unless absolutely necessary.

    It is a nice spot for a night with tables, bin and non drinkable water. But I would pay the same price to stay at the Ayers Rock Campground as for the fuel for both ways.
    Just to it before entering the park and after leaving. Use the caravan park when you stay more then one day in the National Park. It’s worthy.

    Good view from here up on the Sandy Hill for sunset and a spot to stay for 24hrs for free if you are self contained

    It’s a free up to 24 hr rest area, nice bushy spot good spot for an overnight rest
