Great spot to visit while you are in Rockhampton. Steep walk or drive and beautiful views from the walkway at the top.
Very scenic, enjoy your visit, plenty of photo ? opportunities, toilets ? available, cafe available check opening hours, walking trails
Mount archer is a beautiful place to enjoy the nature and the landscape in Rockhampton. The place is totally free of charge, all you need is your time and energy to walk around the place. Sunset is definitely a must at this place, so come around the evening time is ideal. The hiking trail is decent and suitable for most people. Toilet is available at the top of the park near the car park area. Beautiful place to visit
A lookout point that you can view the city of Rockhampton. Not very far from Rockhampton, just about 15mins drive from the city.
You can drive up to the mountain and park your car there and enjoy the view. There is a playground, public restroom and water dispenser. Very well maintained and clean.
You can enjoy the sunset there and then see the lights starting to light up the city. It’s amazing.
Overall a very good place to check out when you arrived at Rockhampton.
