Thank you for looking after me so well, having ulcerative colitis is hard at times, we look fine on the outside but our insides are dying, I was very happy with Joel Cooper the gastroenterologist and all the nurses that helped me ❤ I know how busy you guys get and try to help everyone it wouldn’t be easy.

Grateful they did a good job but wish you could be unconscious for surgery without getting robbed by the staff.

On 22 February this year, I had a procedure at this Hospital, day surgery. I am scared of needles and was anxious regarding the anaesthesia. I explained my fears to the nurses looking after me and they couldn’t have been kinder. My fears were swept away and before I realised the needle was in and I don’t even remember going into theatre. Next thing I am waking up and being given a water. My blood pressure was taken several times and as I gradually became more coherent was given a coffee, my choice, and sandwiches. After making sure I was able to dress and knew where to go I was discharged to my daughter waiting outside the main entrance. This was my first time ever in hospital for any reason. Thank you Orange Hospital for making my stay forever remembered as kind generous and you have the best staff. God bless.

My experience with my regular Dr at this practice is fantastic. There customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I understand people are busy but when you get a lecture about being on time as that’s what this Dr expects plus a call and text to reconfirm it is a bit much that after an hour you’re still waiting with no update from the staff. They would have been aware that this particular Dr was experiencing lengthy delays and could have easily advised this when I was checking in for my appointment and let me make a decision then as to whether to wait or rebook.

I do not know the lady doctors name that I did see last week but knowing myself I was very sick and just having my temperature and heart checked and asked a few questions and being told I was fine was not ok! Plus waiting almost 50 mins to be seen and still being charged was also a joke! I have now been in hospital since Sunday so 5 days because I was ‘fine’ some doctors these days should not be doctors! If you feel you’re very sick just go to hospital! I am having a bad flare up of Ulcerative colitis and was very un happy with the treatment I received from colour city medical yes it is hard because we look fine on the outside mean while our insides are dieing! I’ve had over 1400mg of steriods since being in hospital and also surgery. I swear if you can use Google and check someone’s temperature and know what speclaist to send people onto you also could call yourself a doctor! The treatment people receive still today with the technology is an absolute joke! Always get a second opinion if you know yourself something is not ok!

Honestly I cannot fault this medical centre, I have been to a few local places since moving here searching for the right place and Dr. They care, they will get you in if you’re really not well. Yes you might be on hold for sometime to get an appointment but they are busy for a reason. Both the Drs & medical reception genuinely care.

Waiting on hold for an appointment is ridiculously long wait times. Used to be a great place to go for service. I still love my Dr but can never get thru and hard to get an appt. Not happy because I have been seeing the same dr for a chronic illness for years and now I can’t even get thru to reception.

5 Replies to The 10 Best 24-Hour Medical Centres Near Orange

  1. Nurses and Dr Stevens and Dr Kumar excellent, Dr Dona I won’t see again, all the reception staff are lovely except Christy she is very rude, blunt and is not a people person. Not sure how she is working there because it’s a sheer contrast to the other lovely receptionists

  2. A churn and burn medical certificate factory. Glad to hear that people have had a good experience with Dr Kumar but that’s where the compliments end. Management at this practice is very focussed on your wallet (or the taxpayers wallet) and not on your health. This is another predatory business taking advantage of vulnerable communities in need. Only go of you have to.
Aggressive reply is typical of the centre’s attitude. Please do take action.

  3. Incredibly rude GP’s. Giving inaccurate information to benefit their own personal discriminatory agenda. Had security called after they confined me to a room for not agreeing with them. Security apologised and said it wasn’t uncommon. Fantastic to neglect basic health and communication. Will report to the board.

  4. Extremely rude receptionist named Jill. Speaks to patients rudely, has a very blunt personality and shouldn’t be working in a career where she’s the first person people see or speak to.

  5. Dr i seen diddnt even know what Guanfacine was. most uneducated Dr ive ever seen. i had to tell him the Drug was realted to CataPress. This is a Dr who gets paid to treat people. i guess vets take anyone on they give any Drs licences these day . must be Native Indians they dont need qualifications to live and work here. Australia is truly wacked. 0 stars wasnt an Option
