Just took some cash into this ‘Bank’, asked to change it into smaller denomination. Guess what, they charged me 10% of the cash value. You’re a bank, money is what you do. I didn’t ask dor a burger and chips. This is 21st century guys!!!!!!!
Can not get through to this branch ever. Answering machine always on and never returns calls.
If it was possible to give them negative stars I would. They have the worst customer service and seems like they don’t care about customers feelings.
I lost my card and I went to Common bank at this location and after waiting for a while, Michelle Chapman, who supported to help me out, was stressed and rude and pretending to be nice and I felt like she was being sarcastic all the time.
The service she provided me was so bad that I had to go to another branch to fix the issues that she had done. As she was in a bad mood, she manages to make my problem worth than it was and when I was trying to understand she interrupted me and said that she doesn’t have the answers, therefore, she didn’t allow me to explain my point.
In short, it’s so disappointing and I feel terrible for having lost my card and all my money, which is gone, and the reception I had at Commonwealth Erina Fair was just awful, I felt sick afterwards. So, as I’m not emotionally well, I had to involve my partner to put his time into it after it all.
Finally, I want to thanks all the workers at Commonwealth Bank Gosford Branch, they’re very helpful, patient, friendly and listen to the customers as well.
My mother passed away at 100 + 1 month she had banked with CBA since school days. Unable to operate a computer she had become disillusioned with the difficulty of contacting the Erina branch.
When she received a notice to activate her replacement credit card she rang & after waiting for 40 mins gave up.
Having power of attorney, i visited the branch where I was told that she had to personally activate it.
I explained that she was 90 years & barely mobile & that i had POA, the harridan on the door said that it didn’t matter.
I then spoke to the manager who told me the same, i explained about POA & waiting 40 mins on the phone.
He didn’t care & told me that if i didn’t settle down that he would call security.
So, I tossed the card on the desk & said that it was useless, but, when i added that it was my mothers card & I should have it back, he told me no, that he was keeping it.
Well, since then my mother passed away & left a sizeable inheritance – GUESS WHO DIDN’T GET A CENT & NEVER WILL.
On retelling this story to acquaintances it was regularly met with a roll of the eyes with agreement.
