2 months agoIf you have time then I suggest coming out here (take the L3 and it must specify Kuendu Beach as the final destination). A bus returns every hour. You can also walk up the hill to the left of the beach and get a look at the mountains and water outside the beach.
The nearby water park is shut and there are no nearby facilities or places with fresh water, so stock up before you go.
Not sure how to get to the nearby Canons de Nouville without a car or taxi though. Too far to walk.
8 months agoBack in the day this beach may have been a really beautiful spot. Grassy area isn’t well maintained, and the beach looks lifeless and maybe it was hit hard by the cyclones? There’s a resort there which looks really rundown and maybe closed permanently. The drive there was nice but not really worth your time.a year agoAmazing beach ?️? ⛱️ only 10mins drive from Nouméa Town centre. You can also visit here by bus. No public toilet but plenty of trees for shade and protection from Sun ☀️ We saw a stray dog ? that we fed some biscuits. Water is warm around 22°Celsius. Kuendu Beach Resort is next to the beach where you can have amazing food and drinks at cheap price. I would like to see someone selling coconut water as there are plenty of coconut trees around.a month agoBeautiful clear water , nice place to take a picnic and sunbathea year agoTook #3 bus to this beach which is the end of the line. Beach was lovely, if a little windy, but apart from the private resort, nothing here. Looked at the beach, took 3 pics and took the return bus back to Place de Moselle.

Lemon Bay is probably the best beach in Noumea surrounded by coconut trees. Must visit anytime of the day, sunrise or sunset. Beach is really calm and is perfect for kids and adults to swim. Plenty of parking, bus stop across the road and lots of restaurants and cafe next to the beach. The beach is about 10mins bus ride from Nouméa’s international cruise liner port.
Lemon beach is one of the best beach I see. My family has great time there, blue, white and green color water. Must see.
Beautiful bustling beach with lots of cafes and families
Enough shade – my preference is the next beach around “Ana Vatu” which is quieter and more scenic
It is one of the best beaches in Noumea. Sadly, no one is in the water due to recent shark sightings. I visited 8th April 2023.
Absolutely beautiful beach. Wish I was able to go snorkeling here. Had some restrictions when I went but still enjoyed soaking up the sun by the beach.
