2 weeks agoPalmy’s memorial playground is a must! From waterway to aerobics. The kids will easily burn through an easy 3 hours2 years agoOutstanding. This is waaay more than what I expected. One of the best playgrounds I’ve ever been to (live on Waiheke Island and like to travel) the water activities the slides the adventure items. Exceptional. If it sounds like I’m raving it’s just because it is that good. If I could give another star I would. If this was in Auckland there would be a $10+ entry fee per kid. Love your work Palmya month agoPopular Park with kids and folks. And for good reason. There’s so much variety. Including a water play area, slides of different kids, clean toilets, a duck pond and you also get to see white doves.Even more fantastic in the summer. Lots of water play.
a year agoHaven’t visited the playground at Memorial Park since its upgrade and was very impressed with the facilities. Its colourful, the splash pads are great, and so are the climbing apparatuses. I particularly liked the surfaces and seating undr the trees. The girls had a wonderful time exploring and it’s on our to do list for next week.a month agoReally good on a warm sunny day, kids of all ages enjoying the active features. Easy to keep a eye on your children.

Refreshing to have a well designed and modern playground for all ages here. Toddler playground includes a tunnel, slide and bridge. The playground for older children has a fort with steep slides. There is also a mouse wheel, swings, space net and a large balance beam made from an old tree.
Picnic tables placed in the centre of the play area enable adults to interact with their children.
A basketball half-court is available with an adjustable hoop for all ages.
This is a lovely playground to visit and you can also kick a ball on the grassy park or picnic under the trees.
Significantly upgraded since I was here (maybe 2 years ago??), the playground now boasts a variety of equipment to challenge kids of all ages. Public toilets nearby, basketball and beach volleyball courts, large rope climbing structure in vicinity. Lots of large trees for shade and picnic, benches and picnic tables also available on site.
Nice park for a walk and it has a good kids play area. Highly recommended for families and health enthusiasts.
Great park, enough to play on. On the corner of busy roads so be careful if you have runners as it is not fenced!
Wow! Where do you even start, such an iconic park thats plonked right in the middle of palmy itself. It has public restrooms/ toilets which are usually pretty clean… although i havent ventured in them for quite some time. This park also hosts some rather exquisite playground gear to get your limbs twisted apon, and a wee basketball court that has miraculously stood the test of time over the years.
It also has very close proximity to the CBD, just along the road from the plaza for example and some popular fast food chains are just around the corner, which makes milverton park an ideal place for a picnic with your fellow introverts.
