3 years agoA great place to play petanque. Some equipment is available in the adjacent Cafe.3 years agoA small playground with a good variety of equipment (swings, spin buckets, etc.) for younger kids (while older children occupy themselves on the skate-boarding ramps close by?). Park seating and cafe furniture ensures parents and carers can relax with a coffee or refuel from the Waitangi Park Cafe located onsite. Some of the play equipment look fun enough to attract even the adults! From here it is just a stone’s throw to the Oriental Beach Playground, Oriental Bay Beach or Esplanade for a stroll or a bite to round off your day. There’s even toilets handily located behind the cafe next to the petanque square so your day-trip can proceed smoothly.3 years agoCool playground for older kids and there a water play area too. Also handy is the store selling crepes, ice cream and drinks on site so you can grab a bite while the kids play.a year agoGreat skate park field and patonk area 2 basketball ball hoops park needs a baby swing also has public toilets and rental escooters lined up.2 years agoIt’s abit sad as toodlers and little children are unable to get to the slide unless ur a bigger kid that has good balance and can climb but 2 year Olds 4 year old are unable to get to slide its not that safe of a little kids playground only good part there be the swings kind of and the little water play area but slide at any parks is what little ones love go park for slides and swings and we’ll this park built think for like 6 year Olds

My kid loves it here. Big slides, small slide, swings, a flying fox..it’s got most of what it needs to make a kid happy. And the scenery is breathtaking, something for the grown ups to enjoy.
A good range of sizes for kids. Small play area, big slides and a flying fox. Gtear on a nice sunny Wellington day.
Fantastic playground, small fenced playground for the younger ones and another for the older ones, flying fox and Roctopus. Toilet next door and plenty of shade to sit under. Great spot
Good size playground. A bit far to walk there and if coming from Cable Car, there is a moderate slope to get there although no stairs.
Usual equipments including, twin slides, climbing, see saw, flying fox and swings.
There is a toilet and some chairs but no shelter so bring sunscreen and water.
A good sized play area for the kids, with a wide range of things to play on for them. A little bit of a walk to get there. Good area to have a picnic too.
