9 months agoGorgeous relaxing outing. Looking at the variety of birds and ducks swimming around in the water two swans with their singlets swimming around. Has a lovely play ground for children and WC facilities too.4 months agoGreat park with lot of plants, small lake, fishes and ducks.a year agoSuch a lovely place to wander around. Tracks are wide and well maintained and there are so many birds to watch. I even saw a big fish jumping up in one of the waterways. There is a carpark and public toilets at the main entrance. They also have a playground. After our walk we sat at the lake and fed the birds and a hungry lot of eels. Awesome! Next time I shall take a picnic lunch, then I can get fed as well as the eels.3 weeks agoLove the reserve! Quite a lot of geese honking away. Unfortunately I got approached by some council members who were quite rude while I was visiting, but I didn’t let them ruin my day ?a year agoGorgeous relaxing outing. Great views, u will see a triple waterfalls for the first sight, and keep walking down to explore more, larger waterfall is waiting for you over there.
Time is short, it is like 10mins to go down, it is too easy for young children to run up and down. Great for older to exercise sometime.
?toilet
?easy climb
?clean water, great view
No many car parks, may need to park further end of the road.
Breathtaking views! Family friendly.
The track wasn’t too bad at all, we went with our kids and they had a blast.
Pretty quiet spot, only about 3 other couples spaced out along the track.
Lots of great photography spots!
Nice little waterfall area. There are a series of drops in a small area. Not the most fancy, but worth the short drive if in the Bay of Plenty area.
Awesome falls. Think I got sick from the water though. Council advises not to swim but did so at my own risk. Great swimming and jumping place. Did some canyoning down the waterfalls, great fun!
Beautiful! Bunch of steps, a little muddy, fantastic places for jumping into the waterfall
Didn’t notice any missing bridges either. It’s all completely passable
