Great spot in the CBD. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Shower was perfect with large shower head. The bed was large and comfortable with a selection of different pillows to suit you. Food was okay and beer was cold.

The first room had mold in the bathroom The phone did not work the PowerPoint between the beds was faulty the door slammed shut. There is a lot of mildew through out the complex.the kitchen was only open for take away. We got moved to a much better room.

My stay here was abysmal. I was woken up on the first night at 1a.m. due to an evacuation alarm being falsely triggered and had to wait outside with everyone for half an hour while the firies did their job to ensure it was a false alarm. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work so I had to shower with the shower and bathroom door open (despite this, there was no visible mold I could find in the bathroom, only lots of rust). I had to change rooms TWICE because they smelt of human excrement. The bedding smelled like it hadn’t been changed since the last person and had a very thick coating of residue on all the sheets (likely from cheap washing detergent and poor-functioning washing machines). The carpet looked very dirty with lots of stains (they did not provide any slippers either). Hardly any of the typical items are provided (no toaster, no microwave, no cotton pads for makeup removal, no sanitary items or disposal bags, no booklet of instructions for tv/cooling unit, no bowls or utensils etc). The pools were uncomfortably warm with lots of loose bricks laying around and overgrown weedy gardens. Several of the pool towels provided had stains on them. I would strongly advise staying somewhere else.

Very good. Substantially appointed property in central location. Business appropriate and family appropriate. School kids lodged here last night. Breakfast / Dining room is spacious and well appointed. Large spacious pool and gardens/relax areas. Secure. Locked lifts. Pleasant staff and plentiful. Very clean and fresh rooms well kept and good tv facilities.

Reasonably priced with great amenities. Upgraded to top level King room due to needing quieter area for recuperation. Thank you to friendly & understanding staff.

  1. The Thursday $19 steak wasn’t bad. It comes with chips/mash and salad. The sauce is $3 extra.
The meat wasn’t tender but the 300g rump cap cut is thick and nice.
Order one level rarer for the steak doneness as it’s overcooked.

You need to book on Thursday as it can be fully booked.
Other steak are between $30 to $50.
The steak is more premium than the general tavern steak but the price is not more expensive, so that’s great.
The kitchen is open at 6pm, should’ve open at 5.30 on Thursday to ease the crowd.

  2. I stayed in room 8 with ground level, private outdoor area and will recommend to everyone i know. It’s 3 star service and quality with a 5 star experience. For an easy work stop over, easy check in, clean modern rooms, central for working in the area Room, drinks and food prices the lowest in Australia. ”
I’LL BE BAAARCKKK” (pronounced with an Arny accent for effect)

  3. I found this place to be the BEST, by far in relation to the QUALITY OF THE STEAK, that was served. Possibly double the price of similar places, but if you want the best ?? I’d suggest not missing out. Live music on every visit, happy hour prices, and an around great atmosphere inside created by the staff. Thanks heaps, I’ll be back
I DIDNT TRY THE ACCOMMODATION, hence why I have not given any stars under rooms…..

  4. Usually, it’s a great steak. Unfortunately, my last experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, it was the green pepper sauce. It tasted like someone had dished up ‘Morning Fresh’ dish washing liquid.

To make things worse, my 2 sisters arrived to dinner late and received their meals before the rest of the party. They hadn’t processed the order for the other 6 people at the table.

  5. This hotel was loud, the rooms were dirty, the shelves were covered in dust and the bed sheets that are supposedly clean had blood specks on top of the covers, we didn’t even stay in our room for a full hour before checking out. The First Lady greeting us as we got there was lovely but the lady greeting me as I checked out not so much. The bar restaurant looks like it might be nice but we did not stick around long enough to find out. We were not offered a refund for how disgusting our room was either. I honestly feel like it’s just a sketchy place people must go to hook up after having drinks down stairs. My overall thoughts are “disgusting dirty and gross.”
