2 months agoFor fruits and veggies, I recommend this market. Fish market maybe not up to par but a local will surely find something at the least. Be mindful of belongings when parking near market. Securities are around directing traffic but not watching every vehicle. Safe marketing.2 months agoWaigani market offers fresh garden foods, greens, fruits & vegetables for very low prices.9 months agoA great market, but I believe facilities should be improved more. Food variety is top notch for the island, but I’d like for the prices of veggies to be lower.in the last weekYes of course it’s a good market4 months agoWaigani Market is a market in Port Moresby where most fresh fruits and vegetables are sold ?

“The vegetable market is bustling with activity, and the variety of fresh produce is impressive. It’s a go-to spot for quality vegetables, and the prices are reasonable. A convenient place to stock up on healthy ingredients.”
Gordon’s Market is a local market in which local farmers sell vegetables, fresh garden produces, second hand clothes, fresh meat, river fresh fish & fried cooked fish.
Local shops are also available. You can find glossary shops, department shops and supermarket shops here as well.
Word of precautions is that some people are at the market and do petty crimes like snatching bags and phones. Therefore, don’t use your phone publicly when walking around in Gordon’s Market until you’re on the bus or in a shop. Look at people carefully before walking in between.
Otherwise, most people are good people. If such an event happens to you, just call out loud for help, and there are people there that will help you.
Furthermore, it’s a good market where highlanders dominate it. You can even bargain for price reduction so you can buy.
