I come here on 10/01/2024 at morning about 10:30 the two young girls which one in cafe section making coffee and another one doing the meal and check the meal is right to client. And I was use order machine but after I paid and the screen show errors system and I didn’t have number or receipt so I walk in and told the girl. Although she is making coffee and very busy but her attitude is very surprising me. Coz many years in food industry and been long time can’t see this beautiful thing. She is very patient and nicely and lovely smile and the other girl is try to help as well. To see and feel this. I really want give these two girl a good encouragement and compliment. And tell them they are good workers. And her coffee is full of positive energy.

Pretty sad when you the only person in the drive thru have to wait 10-15 minutes (9:30pm ish probably cooking it fresh) for the order to be completely wrong. The Big Mac I didn’t order was below average lettuce was nasty as hell (note if it’s brown you probably shouldn’t use it). The 1 fries we received out of 3 was pretty banging. Would have liked the other 2 ordered tho.

The declining expectations of fast food in the Bundaberg area. I’m not sure why it is but there is definately a decline in the service level of McDonald’s and other fast food restaurants in the Bundaberg region. My expectations is fast is walk in and walk out not order and wait for minutes. Other outlets on the east coast can do easily why can can’t Bundaberg do it. Please lift your game.

Bought two flat white coffees. $10.90. We gave them $20. As the girl at the counter punched in the digits, we dug out another 90c to make the change even – 10 bucks. It took the girl a good minute to count the 90 cents and calculate that $10 was indeed correct. OK, we got ticket 185. After 14 min of nothing, I asked another girl how long it would take to make 2 coffees. She looked at the board, and ticket 185 wasn’t there. She quickly issued me ticket 197. After another 15 minutes of nothing, I had to speak to the manager. This time, it worked, but more than 30 minutes for 2 coffees is really appalling.

Food was the only reason for the 3 stars as I was hungry as, I had to wait for over 30min to receive my food. Waited at the counter to check up on my order and no one came up to me. Finally, a worker asked me if he could help, and low and behold my order was ready, with the lady who brought it to the bench failing to call out my number.

  1. Absolute great lunch and very affordable. For all those complaining about sitting downstairs (which I think is actually a great spot): you are not in a fine dining restaurant. It is a take away seafood market with a restaurant. For this, I think the prices are reflective, the quality superb, and the venue is a bonus. Can’t expect wait staff, unless you want to pay the price. I think they nailed it! Staff was friendly and helpful too. It was busy when we were there (Saturday lunch) and they all had a smile and time for you.
We had the hot and cold seafood platter for 2, a very nice Riesling and had just enough room for cheesecake and iced latte. Can’t wait to return for the chowder when it cools down again.
    Thank you all at Grunske’s!

  2. Every time we go, the staff is friendly? and the seafood is fresh, making it great for cooking at home? The selection changes weekly, and having a seafood market in Bundy makes me very happy❣️

  3. Food took a little longer than expected due to a lost order on a busy day, but the food was well worth the wait and it is in the perfect location by the river. I’ll be back!

  4. We always look forward to our dining experiences at Grunskis? Lovely Trish at the front is so welcoming and all the team are very friendly.
The seafood platters are great value the quality is excellent and well presented.
On our recent visit I had the Fully Loaded Bundy Prawns which were fabulous and our family enjoyed the Salmon Teriyaki Bowl and Bundy Barra with the creamy sauce.
A very relaxing way to spend a leisurely lunch looking at the beautiful Burnett river and passing boats with a chilled Sauvignon blanc or a cold drink of choice.
Thank You to the hard working chef’s and team at Grunskis ??!!

  5. Super helpful staff member. Food was tasty and really fresh. Very generous portions. We had the Hot and Cold platter for 2 and even without eating the chips we didn’t finish. Even had the local sand crab on there. Best part was they took the time to cut the crab so it was easy to get every last morsel or of it. I love crab and find it fussy too eat. I enjoyed it so much and the care of the preparation that I will be going back for more crab today. ? Beautiful views and venue on the water.
