a month agoLove this gorgeous place. There is a lot to do here . Swim at the beach and don’t have to worry about crocodile as we have in northern Territory. Ferries wheel, candy floss , play ground, aerojumo, horse ride, wharf, restaurant,.If you come up here with kids you would need about the whole day.
There is a train ride and they allow dogs in the train and also in the beach. We would be going back again with little newnie
3 months agoIt’s definitely one of the best spots in Geelong to relax and have fun. Walk along the tracks and relax under the trees while taking natural vitamin D?2 weeks agoGreat area from the end of the esplanade to the Geelong Botanic Gardens, picnic area, swimming pools, fresh and saltwater, kiosk, changing rooms and toilets2 weeks agoMore lights on Promenade please!! Plenty of lights along the waterfront but they all stop at the Promenade. Aesthetics, safety, security and complimentary to all the walking plank donors that helped build it ❤️

Nice a quiet during the week but have to pay for parking not much takeaway options. Packed on a nice weekend day free weekend parking if you can find a empty spot but it’s nice and very popular so to be expected. Need some food trucks not just ice cream trucks which are nice too.
Always love to Visit Geelong Waterfront, your gateway to regional Victoria. Beautiful place for families. Spend a few hours or a full day. Take a small walk or go for a picnic. Loved the jetty, kids playground, incecream carts, the little train or helicopter ? ride. Great food options for everyone on the shore and nearby areas. My kids always enjoy the walk and little pool next to the beach. It’s a great place if you love fishing ? or boating ?. The views are breathtaking and the landscape is perfect. We go there very often with a friend or just ourselves. Don’t forget to take a tour to the Sunday market. Car parking can be a bit difficult during weekends and can involve long walks so plan before if you have young kids. The toilets ? are clean and not so crowded. Take extra clothing if your kids are interested to go to water. Always a five star from us. Enjoy your visit ?
Always nice to take the Little train for a ride around here. Everybody loves this place. Young and old, family and friends.
For a picnic, volleyball, dip in the pool or just enjoy the view. There is a carousel in the Visitor Information Centre and they sell ice cream there. There are a few eateries too. Some brought their rods and fish at the Cunningham Pier.
It is a nice place to be.
Superb maintained waterfront. One of the best dayout outdoor spot… Long seashore.. public pool is an attraction.. various fun things including Ferris wheel and carousel…
Easy to reach by public transport and car… Car park is too much but mostly full.. many ice cream trucks on the shore.. sit back relax and enjoy..
I love this Geelong Waterfront.
There a plenty of area to swim and have fun. Protected from the sharks.
Lots of jumping options. Including the 4m Diving tower.
Kids pool available too.
Showers and toilets on site.
Often you can get icecream trucks in the area.
Perfect place to have a picnic too.
