a month agoThe UniSQ Japanese Garden is a serene oasis that beautifully captures the essence of traditional Japanese landscaping. The meticulous arrangement of plants, stones, and water features creates a peaceful atmosphere, offering visitors a tranquil escape. The garden’s design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflects a deep appreciation for nature and balance. It’s a delightful destination for those seeking a moment of calm and cultural immersion.3 weeks agoThis gorgeous Japanese Garden is absolutely a plus point to choose Toowoomba as your next driving destination. Lovely Japanese Garden with biggest and tallest Bonsais I’ve ever seen before. In about 30minutes walk, you will encounter beautiful cherry blossoms, lovely families of ducks, birds and cranes. Just about 2 hours drive from Brisbane2 weeks agoWe always love our trip to the Japanese Garden. It is a great place to take the dogs for a walk and enjoy the relaxing feel of the gardens, water features, and wildlife. The gardens are very well maintained, the amenities are very clean and tidy with a new toilet block recently built, lots of birds, including the majestic Ibis, who have their own little island in the middle of the lake. If you can, come in Spring as the Japanese Cherry Blossums will be blooming which is a beautiful sight.a month agoVery beautiful garden one of the best I have seen. Well maintained gardens. With lot’s of different types of plants and trees to look at. Good place to relax and enjoy different types of ducks. Plenty of green areas to have a picnic on. Plenty of parking space during the week day. There are a few hidden paths to find as well. Most of the path is wheelchair and pram friendly, there is are few steps, but not on the main path. Toilets are close by. Highly recommend going to have a look ??.4 months agoThe gardens need some work to present a more authentic Japanese garden feel. However it was still a nice experience and there are some nice elements in the gardens. The ponds though need to be filtered and cleaned and the Ibis nest site is a real detractor.

Amazing park beautiful gardens lots of different types of flowers and trees. Playground and bbq areas close by. As well as toilets, a dog park. And wheelchair friendly and prams pathways. Good place to relax and enjoy the quiet. Nice big green areas to play in. Well maintained. Highly recommend going to have a look. ??
Spectacular as always during September! Fantastic display of simply gorgeous flowers. Lovely listening to music in the park, whilst having a gentle stroll through the park. Wonderful to visit alone, but even better experience if you bring a friend or your dog! The park is dog and bicycle friendly ?
Beautiful park at the centre of Toowoomba which is amazing anytime of year. Rare large trees amount to a very unique collection if one takes time to read the plaques on the trees. The park emerges with other parks during September in the city each year to be park of the carnival of flowers event which is great for those who love perennials.
What a massive and beautiful park! This place has it all will big trees of all kinds, space for kicking around a ball or having a picnic. Even has a botanical gardens sections with all the flowers for the festival. Plenty of toilet blocks and water fountains.
Beautiful park with many of the floral displays from the recent festival still there in the Botanical Garden section.
I love their dog off leash area as it has gardens to explore. No fences but only a dead end quiet street nearby. A couple of watering stations for humans & dogs. & Several seats scattered around some in sun, some in shade.
