5 months agoThe only time we had for shopping for our New Zealand trip.We visited this place on the 30 July 2023 to see if we could get any gifts ? and grab something to eat.
This place kinda reminds me of Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne.
Food court sells a variety of different cuisine.
Two major supermarket Countdown and Pak N Save.

Quite busy when I was there but felt everyone was looking as I was on my mobility scooter6 months agoLarge and long shopping mall in Papanui , Christchurch . A large food courts inside the mall , Two to Three Cafe shops and Japanese foods shops , Large emporium and General Shops , Two large supermarkets are open up to 22:00pm (10:00pm) , Sufficient carparks available , Very busy and crowded .3 weeks agoAngela who was clearing tables in the food court had the best customer service I have seen for a long time. She interacted so well with the customers on tables she was clearing. Great to see.4 weeks agoVery very busy. Not a fan of crowds but wanted to go to movies, so put on big girl pants and did the dash. Was great movie at Hoyts in their new moving chairs..

Typical shopping mall, they are all equally bad and sadly main attraction and place for people to spend their time on the weekends. Riccarton Mall is the oldest in town, overcrowded, with very limited parking options. Takes forever to find any parking spot, especially on the weekend. On the plus side there is something for everyone from cinema to variety of boutiques, shops, services and food and cafe options. Almost everything g you need you can find there if you don’t mind the stress of pushing through the crowds of people who seem to be there all day long, from the opening to closing.
Close to my work! Have so much options for lunch (avoid Coffee Club at all costs though). Cinemas in here. Whenever I buy gifts this is where I go. Absolute helpful staffs and tidy toilets (although some aren’t, specially that one next to H&M). Nonetheless very convenient place to shop in. Love it!
I liked how easy it was to find all the shops that I was looking for and Samantha at the information desk was excellent and very helpful.
Needing a shirt with more room thanks to Christmas over eating, I discovered Johnny Bigg at Riccarton – and really rate them. Great range and great prices but best of all was Tree, who served me. That’s customer service as it should be done! Helpful and professional. I’ll be back.
Loads of wonderful stores to choose from. Westfield is always immaculately clean and always been a pleasure to shop at. My daughter and I love having a girls day out at the movies, doing some shopping and finishing off with some sushi for lunch. Always have a fabulous time whenever we visit.
