As an artist on Bluethumb I can only say positive things about them. They got my art all around Australia and even a few overseas sales. When an artwork sells I am supported through the process the whole way. Bluethumb arranges the courier for overseas sales so there’s no drama there. For small works in Australia I just drop at my local post office and larger works are couriered. We are guided in wrapping safely to reach buyers in top condition. Any artist not on Bluethumb is missing out on a wider market.

  1. Cultured, tasteful, pleasant, exciting. These words for me sum up the Art Gallery of SA. I visit here twice a year, and they seem to update their walls frequently, so there is always new exhibits for you to see. It’s family friendly and has areas where children can sit and draw or play. It’s has elements of a museum, depicting the varied history of this state. They also have an extensive modern art section, so there great scope in what’s on display. I highly recommend you come by and check it out.

  2. This gallery is a great place to visit, and it’s free. It boasts a comprehensive collection of both Australian and European art, as well as interesting furniture and art objects that complement the paintings well. It’s definitely worth spending time here.

  3. I love this wonderful gallery ❤. I have visited many galleries throughout the world and this is by far one of my favourites. The gallery has a generous art space filled with stunning works and it regularly hosts ‘touring’ collections. The Cafe and gallery shop are lovely, the staff and volunteers welcoming and knowledgeable, and the gallery, which offers free entry, is perfectly situated in the city of Adelaide.
Definitely deserving of a five ? review and a must for tourists and locals alike.

  4. Beautiful place, The gallery displays historical paintings (mostly early Australian paintings), and modern contemporary artworks which is really stunning.
    Also, it is FREE!
Definitely a must visit place if you are in Adelaide! Make sure don’t miss this one!?

  5. I didn’t expect much but this gallery was quite impressive. The featured art was stunning with a variety of styles including impressionist, dada, chinese, renaissance, religious and contemporary. Noteworthy pieces included the provoking horse corpse and a white room filled with red yarn. Loved it and recommended to all my friends!
