a month agoAfter having a very horrible customer experience with the NAB Smith Street Darwin branch, I went to the Bendigo Darwin Branch today to open a business account. The person who assisted me, “Dean,” was extremely helpful, and her customer service beyond my expectations.3 months agoPoor customer service. Dean is not doing a better service. I have to hand it to this branch.
I had some real drama with my card. And they did their best to sort it out for me. And they got it right
There’s still a staff shortage during some hours I think. And the lack of ticketing for cues is still an issue in all NAB branches.
I’m pleased with this branch and it’s staff. Watch out for peak times if you need to go in there though.
I apologise regarding my recent feedback totally inappropriate due to impatience on my behalf. This bank is my favourite and as been fir a long time. When served the customer service is absolutely fabulous. My live and respect to the staff for there patience with customers.
Several times have attended before the lunch time rush to find the line out the door. They seem to all take breaks when they’re busiest. NAB made a statutory profit of $6,364 MILLION in FY 2021, and it takes an hour to be seen. So I called. The NAB telephone banker couldn’t get onto the Darwin branch by phone (surprise), so they sent an email on my behalf. I never received a response. And the reason for the phone call was to chase up some files paperwork (over a month ago) that has never been actioned.
Once I was taken out of line, to be told only a teller could assist so I had to line up again.
The deposit machine out the front has incorrectly counted cash.
So slow. So unhelpful. So frustrating. And they’re making thousands of millions.
NAB Darwin closed for 3 months for refurb. No extension of hours for other branches to take up slack or cover- and any attempt to phone gets the national “Your call is important…..” blurb. No help to a business customer of 35+ yrs. Customer service…hah!!
Recently reopened. I love NAB bank, but why do they have 6 employees when only one works for inquiries for people?
