We visited Kidspace Playground today by Chermside Westfield and my kids had a blast. Even as an older Playground, they really enjoyed running all over it like a castle. It was cool how it’s mostly undercover, which means kids can play rain or sun. There is a toilet block, plenty of walking tracks around the park and even a small Road way park for kids on bikes or scooters.

Heaps of picnic space, seating and some on-site bbqs.

Great park for the kids, plenty of shade and seats around.

Toilets were clean and easily accessible.

Plenty of open parkland to set up camp in, and barbecue facilities.

Most of the playground is undercover and is mostly made from wood.

Great spot to go for a few hours or for a family get together.

Great big park with ample parking green space and giant playground

    Facilities, bbq chairs benches

Kids can spend a whole day here with swings too, skill levels for all ages

    Also a handball court

Don’t get me wrong, this is a great park with all the amenities you’d need, it just lacks that little bit of adventure. A rickety bridge, rope ladder, just something that moves. It’s a great park and I’ll be back but I know it could be one of the best with some small adjustments.

Awesome play park for kids of all ages . Heaps climbing frames, seated areas for families, shade plenty. We had a sports gathering to meet up before cricket carnival. Very relaxed area.

  1. Great Spot, Lots of Activities for small to big kids.
Good parking spot. There’s also a dog parks adjacent side.
    Worth brining your small ones.
There’s also toilet, BBQ and bubbler facilities.

  2. Nice park with cool features for kids to explore. Visited years ago when it was new, but play equipment has aged without much maintenance. Nearby water coolers and toilets available. Good park for children very you (under 2) to pre-teens.

  3. Was a great playground. Heaps of space for kids to run and play. Heaps of stuff for imaginative play.

Was a little bit of rubbish about, but that could easily be blamed on the wind, as it was quite an open space.

Loses one star due to the fact that the original piece of park is getting a bit old and could possibly use a little revamp, to match the new-ish stuff that’s gone in.

Otherwise a great park we will visit again.

  4. It became extremely crowed, users are not cleaning their rubbish. Especially many activities by elders that are not child friendly (like, playing cards etc..). BCC needs to monitor and put little more effort to make it good again.
