Lovely shady park with beautiful big trees. Lots of benches, nice play area with a variety of swings and climbing equipment, a band rotunda and rose garden. There is also a cafe, however I am not sure it is operating during COVID restrictions. In and adjacent there are public toilets, public lawn tennis court and Lowlands Bowling Club.

Centennial Park is a good place for partying, going to the playground or just enjoying the great outdoors. It has an abundance of space, lots of trees and shrubbery and a public toilet which looks like it came out of WW2. But it is still a good place to go if you get to go on a break either at work or school.

Fantastic playground facilities. Coffee cart around the corner in the lawn bowling club car park. Restrooms are available however rather undesirable in quality and cleanliness.

Great diverse space with a new play ground next to the Lowlands bowling club. On a nice day you can see people coming together to have a picnic, play sports, and even weddings.

  1. Beautiful park. Drive or walk through the park. There are plenty of places to take a photo. Brilliant flower garden at the time of walking through. Wonder views of the ocean. Nice walking trails. It’s worth a look. Toilets and BBQ facilities are available.

  2. A very nice park with breathtaking views. There is plenty of parking as well. It’s pretty close to the bogey hope as well so you park here and then walk down to the hidden gem. There is a lookout spot here as well which offers a great view of the horizon as well as the Newcastle beach towards the left.

A spot on place for a nice walk and a swim as well if you wanna go down the bogey hole.

  3. It is a place to relax, have a picnic, read, enjoy time with nature. There is also a beautiful building where weddings take place. It’s a peaceful place

  4. For as far as I don’t go every day, the park was excellent. We were there for the Newcastle Permanent Cinema unde the stars and the evening was a superb event. Particularly for the fact the weather was on our side.

Would go one day in the day time to see the nature in full daylight.

Was nice, hope will be same on my next visit.

  5. The top lookout is absolutely beautiful.
Impressed with the free gas BBQ SYSTEM surrounded by gorgeous high trees with plenty of shade and the BBQ area is next to public toilets which was a plus.
Great for families and their dogs.
First time visiting and loved it.
