6 months agoI didn’t know I would enjoy my gym time, but I’ve had great training sessions with Sett. He has always been patient and encouraging, and I’m so glad to have him as my trainer. The team are so professional yet so friendly. Keep up the good work guys.2 weeks agoYou’re a big scam. You tell people that once payment is done on the counter everything is good and couple of days later u send a request on Debit Success for a double payment while promising them to solve the issue. If u guys want more money ask for it but don’t scam people.8 months agoI have never been soo satisfied in a gym until I found Fitness First Flinders St Platinum. I personaly believe that every gym are the same but never the staff. In my opinion, no matter how perfect or moderm a gym can be, without a staff that can matched its greatness, that gym could and or would have been rubbish. Staff here at FF Flinders are are awesome. Special mention to Flossie who always have the brightest smile and the most positive vibes and the best part of her is that, she always have the ears that listen to my sentiments and corn-ey jokes even in my very F* up english ?. Kian who always have something to share about nutrition and even in life itself. Kian made me feel safe aswell during the day I had a fun but terrible wormy legs that resulted to me stumbling on the floor a few times after maxing out leg training. He was the first one to respond leaving his post without thinking twice. Together with the gym marketing manager Scott and Facility manager Kieran and the maintenance guy in the locker room, all of them made it sure that my safety is their utmost priority. Also to Justin who always have the time to attend what I need. Last but definitely not the least to Matilda Qin, my PT for 12 sessions. Thumbs in the sky for this awesome lady who thought not just how things work in the gym nor how things are properly done but how you train yourself mentaly as well. Balance between strict and tricks. Time spent with her is worth every penny. Nothing in the gym I can say that needs to be revamped. Perfect in my eyes and needs. Thank you FF Flinders St Platinum. To more goals to reach and fun times to cherish! ???????????Talkative Dan
2 months agoWORST club in Melbourne. From sales to management, they are all money takers. They don’t respect what’s actually in the contract, from overcharging, to charging during “free/complementary periods “ to creating more loopholes for refunds… honestly the worst experience I’ve had. Also they are never available really hard to deal with this gym. The very worst part is that this doesn’t happen just to me, but I have asked friends and they all share the same thoughts. This club deserves a minus 5 stars rating.
2 months agoFrom Brissy but in Melbourne for a girls trip and just needed a day pass to train. I called ahead and spoke to Adam…? Sorry, I can’t remember the name but the guy on the phone was super helpful. Staffed hours start at 5am which is great for someone like me that needed to see the admin team to get in. Johs (spelling sorry!) at the desk was super friendly and accommodating. Made the sign up process super efficient and easy. Excellent service, really would recommend the team here.

Francesco is nothing short of amazing as a personal trainer. His passion for fitness and dedication to his clients are truly remarkable. From the moment I started working with him, I could tell he was invested in helping me achieve my goals. Francesco’s knowledge of exercise and nutrition is top-notch, and he customized a workout plan that was both challenging and achievable. What sets him apart is his ability to motivate and inspire. He kept me accountable, even on my toughest days, and his positivity was contagious. Thanks to Francesco, I’ve made significant progress and gained a new level of confidence in my fitness journey. If you’re looking for an incredible personal trainer, Francesco is the one to choose.
This would have to be one of the most untidy, messy, and poorly kept gyms I’ve ever seen in my life. The other reviews on here that say otherwise should not be taken seriously. There is a constant mess everywhere, with both trainers and members leaving weights on equipment, leaving benches in wrong places, leaving weights strewn all over the ground, barbell clips everywhere, jump boxes all over the place. The amount of stuff left everywhere is a safety hazard. The manager doesn’t seem to care enough to sort the issues out (the front desk has been made well aware of the issues many times). There is not a single time I come to this gym that there isn’t stuff left everywhere, with staff members constantly walking past and doing nothing. Last week there was a silver dumbbell left in the middle of the huge open area/walkway for the entire 90 minutes I was there, with a constant stream of employees walking past and ignoring it.
As for the toilets…. I’ve never had to wipe urine off a toilet seat so many times in one place more in my life. Male members seem to think that it’s okay to stand a metre away from the urinal, leading to constant wet patches of urine on the ground in front of the urinals. When doing a number 2, it also seems that male members/potentially staff members think it’s nice to leave poo all the way up to the rim of the toilet. Note this is not an infrequent occurrence: the toilets are often gross and more often than not all three cubicles are unusable or requiring the next member to clean someone else’s mess just to be able to go to the toilet.
Members and trainers also do not often seem willing to share equipment during peak hours – even at the times when there are more people here than equipment. Some people “do supersets” with 2 or even 3 pieces of equipment, and not willing to share, nor are they actually doing supersets as they are resting for long periods of time in between both exercises and sets.
These problems also seem to only occur at this specific location. I frequent Church St, Flinders St and QV, and while they aren’t perfect (no one expects a perfect gym 24/7), Melbourne Central specifically has some serious issues. I would be embarrassed to work here and show new potential customers around.
If they want to fix the issues on the gym floor, it could perhaps be a good idea to have a staff member walking around the gym floor during peak hours (maybe 3-7pm?) and talking to customers about gym etiquette and making sure that everyone is aware of how they can keep the gym well maintained for everyone to use. Even if you just did this for a month or so, maybe you would be successful in changing the poor culture of this gym and it might be better for all.
Francesco’s expertise as a personal trainer shines through in his unique style and method. My training sessions with him have helped me immensely with management of my back pain. His workouts are not just about physical looks but also about improving your general health (and especially if you have an injury or troublesome area like a sore back!) through tailored exercises. I appreciate Francesco’s dedication to helping me improve my health and wellbeing – he is an exceptional choice for anyone aiming to achieve fitness goals while effectively managing and preventing back pain!
I have very much enjoyed training with Francesco the last few years, he has always made sessions enjoyable and he is a great motivator with a wealth of knowledge and qualifications. He inspires a holistic approach that gets great results whilst also acknowledging and encouraging sustainable dietary changes that allow long term progress to be made and maintained. He is passionate and dedicated in helping his clients and I would recommend him to anyone.. from beginners at the gym to those with specific goals in mind.
I’ve been training with Francesco for over a year now.
He is an exceptional personal trainer.
His professionalism shines through in every session, providing expert guidance with unwavering dedication. The remarkable results I’ve seen under his tutelage are a testament to her effectiveness. Francesco’s distinctive and successful approach to training has turned each session into a motivating and fulfilling experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Francesco to anyone in search of a positive transformation in their fitness journey.
