As a member of the Lamana Hotel and a regular as well, Lamana is a comfortable place for me to let lose and relax and enjoy a couple beers and a chat with friends or a game of pool in the arena or snooker at the Q club upstairs or even discuss business during the week days. Both Yiannis and Jacquie (Executive Managing Staff) come and mingle with the members and regulars. The staff are friendly and helpful. The DJ’s keep the party going mixing up the hits with classics from the legends to blast from the past, to the current music hitting the airwaves abroad as well as locally. The security is alert always making sure the members are kept safe, anyone who is out of order is always chucked out of the club instantly to ensure others enjoy their peace and freedom to enjoy themselves. The food is tasty and great. I have also stayed in the rooms which are comfortable and cozy. Great service from both management and staff, Great Food, Great rooms, Great Location. Truly the party capital of the Pacific. Keep being awesome Lamana, and keep improving. The skies the limit. Kudos!

I have stayed at lamana many times in the past. I stayed this time for a week and I found it very noisy and lots of drucks around. The service was slow and made mistakes. The check in was messy and the booking online needs more attention as the staff does not follow it. The check out was also messy with tabs booked to my account with out any proper authorisation. On checking in I asked for a discount but no one listened to my request.

Love the place, but the service is a tad bit slow. Would appreciate it if the food came out quicker, especially if it’s pizza.

  1. Enjoyed the dining experience multiple times at the Feast restaurant upstairs. The rooms are also well furnished with more than enough shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion by Crabtree. Live entertainment was also swell during the month of November, and having to use their conference rooms is exquisite since I had the chance to attend for business and also university roadshow when they had Australian Universities to showcase what’s on offer. They could improve to serve almonds at the bar instead of just peanuts since they didn’t have any when I asked. Security is also better than other hotels.

  2. I was highly impressed by the convenience offered at the
Hilton Port Moresby. During my business trip, my stay there proved to be delightful. The hotel’s management and receptionist team were notably friendly and accommodating throughout my time. The cleanliness of my room and the well-maintained building facilities added to the positive experience. I intend to choose this establishment for my future stays as well.

  3. Great environment, friendly staff beautiful atmosphere relaxing safe secured the food is great lovely place for a weekend get away , you can get a good view of the city ..

  4. Everything was perfect, the staff was very polite, that was the chef Don this morning in the restaurant, very arrogant, very impolite, I asked him a favor to heat a dresser for my father who eats special food and he didn’t even want to listen to me and he looked at me with superiority. He traveled all over the world and This is the first time this has happened to me at a Hilton. You can see my name in their chain of hotels, which I stay in all of them.

  5. Conveniently located.
Nice rooms. Liked that the hotel is into sustainability.
However, the room service quality has dropped since 2020. Staff don’t answer phone calls sometimes. When they do, they aren’t very helpful.
