Dendy Cinemas is a great place for movie lovers! comfortable seating and great sound system, it provides a top-notch viewing experience. They often showcase a mix of mainstream, independent and international films, catering to diverse tastes. We hosted a couple of film festivals here.. Enjoy the show! ??

for some reason they are card only which was a bit inconvenient. the popcorn was pretty good although slightly overpriced. i would recommend getting to the cinema about ten minutes after the actual start time as this means there won’t be any staff stopping you from bringing in your own snacks and you also won’t have to sit through as much ads. i got there ten minutes late, bought popcorn, went to the bathroom and still had ten minutes more of ads so being late isn’t a worry. the seats don’t recline and are a bit stiff however it’s nothing too bad. the bathrooms are clean and the cinemas are nice although a bit smaller than i expected. overall pretty good

I just moved back to the area. Was excited to see a movie today. After ordering popcorn and selecting a ticket, they refused to take my cash. I would have seen two movies a week. They legit have lost a customer. It’s a no from me. I might give it a go again if they take cash again one day. I’m sorry I can’t support a business that doesn’t take cash. I’m a filmmaker, so I will insist my distribution in the future leaves Dendy away from all future films. Gone to the dogs. Guess you don’t want money.

Rude staff who have the customer service and social skills of a rock. Place stinks, chairs are stained with god knows what and you’re lucky if the movie even shows. Disgraceful

Avoid at all costs and go to Hoyt’s

Its a good movie theatre but you don’t get the recliners like you do at Hoyts. If you want recliners you have to pay $41 for the premium lounge, which doesn’t include anything but a recliner seat. The menu looks nice but it’s also a massive rip off. The prices for the premium lounge for the ticket and menu is ridiculous.

  1. Today I am at Hoyts to see my favourite movie the James Bond , No Time To Day, loved it, a good action movie.

The sitting is nice can lift your legs up.
    Inside is nice and cool.

Winter time the theatre ? is nice and warm.

Tonight we see, Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness.
Some good action in the film ?.

We get all our popcorn and cold drinks, with some snacks ?.

    Come and see some movies.
After go shopping, or to Cafe shop ?.

  2. Very good cinema. I believe they have more than 10 theaters at this location. Variety of food are served. Popcorn and soft drinks are self service where you just have to pay at the counter. It’s located in the 2nd floor of the Westfield shopping mall. The seats are very comfortable with automatic reclining feature.

  3. Seats were good, however the movie “The Creator ” was ruined by the strange inclusion of closed captions (subtitles) throughout the entire movie. Had we known this was going be the case we wouldn’t have attended that session. Was extremely distracting. Screen quality was poor . Awesome movie though ?

  4. Lots of decent amenities let down by the quality of the cinema itself.

The projector is consistently out of focus & in desperate need of getting its contrast levels adjusted (if not downright replaced). Just yesterday, I was struggling to read the subtitles on the new Godzilla film & the night scenes were rendered nearly indecipherable thanks to the aforementioned poor contrast.

Also, since the renovation a few years back, they’ve consistently served cold popcorn, rather than freshly scooped, so that’s a minor let down by itself.

I’ve got no complaints about the staff nor any of the other facilities, but everything good is just window dressing to an ultimately subpar movie viewing experience.

This is my childhood movie theatre, so I want to like it way more than I do.

  5. They up dated it a few years back, and the seats are great. But even with childrens vouchers, I am paying a lot to see movies with my children. I’m not sure the value is there as some movies are just bad these days.

They do the best to make it feel special event but it just adds up fast.
