a month agoGreat Hiking trails for all levels with lots of Koala spotting! First Falls is pram friendly!I hiked up Third Falls and was pleasantly surprised with the height of the trail. I loved the fact that you could see across to the other side and see other people walking along too. The trails are easily labelled and colour coded with an abundance to cross over to other trails very easily.
2 months agoTravelled from CBD via public transport which was very easy. Stops right at the start of the park. Walks are well marked and a number of different walks so can find something that fills your needs. I did three falls hike which was nice. Good views, and even looking as far back as Adelaide city. Reasonable standard of fitness required for that walk. Isn’t a long walk but some steep sections and the ground is quite rocky. First time seeing Koalas in the wild. They are amazingly close to the track.6 months agoVideo of Koala ? in this review, along with epic birds and ducks ???The fact that Morialta is a 10 minute drive from the CBD is one of many reasons why Adelaide is one of the best city’s to live in on planet earth.
The photos and videos in this review really don’t do it justice as this is really the family friendly (most common) walk you can take. It’s a beautiful walk where you can see a cave and waterfall. That being said, it’s really really good and always memorable. You can’t fault the location and the experience.
But!!! And a big massive but, if you don’t have a 4 year old with you like I did today, the walking trails are absolutely amazing. There are multiple skills / fitness levels and I would recommend every single one of them.
I have taken multiple 2-3 hr hikes here is it’s like you experience a lot of Australia ?? in one awesome hike ?
Absolutely incredible and it’s a reminder of how diverse the landscape is in South Australia.
Parking is good. Facilities like toilets / restrooms is good. Today there was a coffee ☕️/ food cart there. Safety is good. The natives and I’m touched wilderness is the best a conservation park could possibly offer.
5 months agoBeautiful hiking spot in Adelaide with easy access by public transport! Magnificent waterfalls in the winter times and great views of both Adelaide and the conservation park at some viewing platforms. The main trail from the car park to the first falls is all paved and great for walks with young children in strollers! Make sure to take the steps up to the giants cave on this trail!
The other dirt trails are quite rocky meaning that for most of the hike you’ll be looking down at the path before you and it can’t be accessed by those with prams/strollers etc but overall a great place for weekend hikes.
a week agoBeautiful reserve with many hiking trails. Ample parking available. Spotted a number of Koalas.

Had one of the best days of my life there, held a koala (buy ticket online in advance), and fed kangaroos in all shapes and sizes!! You come so close to the animals, like you would never be able in the wild. Lovely staff and many beautiful local birds.
First time in Australia, I went to this park just to interact with Kangaroos.
They’re so cute and lovely.
Highly recommend this place. The scenery is also nice, we can see the whole city.
Nice experience walking around the park. There was adequate parking. Can buy animal feed at the entrance. Was able to see most animals up close and got the chance to feed a kangaroo.
Lovely zoo, if you wish to call it that. Im more along the line of conservation park. Lots of local wildlife that you can get close to, feed and even pet. Nice walk through the different areas takes about 2 hours. The variety of animals and view over the city makes this one a must.
Such a great experience with this lovely animals only i little bit upset with nature.. bcoz of rain ?..only one thing I didn’t like here that for feeding u have to purchase the kangaroo food etc..when u paying that much money ….so only this things have to change by cleaned conservation park ….that’s it …thanku ??
